What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

T
You guy's Stingers look so much better with the text badge in the back! Much better... And I agree with @Chris - use floss or fishing line and don't pull off the KIA badge...
Thanks Sal, yes it looks good & worth the little care & effort.

I wanted the OEM Stinger cargo mat but not available in Canada. Ordering from the US after shipping, duties, and rate conversion takes it to $250. Didn't feel right to spend that on a carpet so bought a pretty-good quality 4x6 rubber-backed floor mat and cut it to shape.

did you make a template first ??

No unfortunately, no Cosco in Perth either. What brand is the mat?

these are readily available as door mats at home hardware stores , even in rolls where you can cut to length , they are durable with rubber backing and usually are made of nylon etc perfect for trunk liners etc

Just found one in Bunnings hardware store. $42 a meter (2m wide) same ribbed and rubber backed.

I think if you made a template out of construction paper or light cardboard it would be relatively easy to get a perfect fit .......................

To many posts above to quote :) so I'll just respond in general.

Yes, your local hardware store or most any store since it's a fairly common rubber-backed mat with the dark charcoal/black felt top material that's durable.

I didn't have a large-enough cardboard (good idea westcoasGT), though in hindsight, you can tape up a few pieces together to make one large one and cut that as the template. Instead I took the more difficult route: I cut the carpet to a rectangle of 42" x 52", then crammed it along the edge of the cargo area and I marked the line with a chalk. Cut with pruning scissors as it's pretty tough to cut with normal scissors. It turned out pretty good though the big cardboard idea will make things easier and even more precise.

Here's another pic, different angle.

I was hoping these would have worked for the the rear seats to secure bags in the trunk , but they weren't deep enough or long enough , since I rarely have anyone in the back seats I'm going to try this out and see how well works , ceratinly should reduce the groceries spilling out of the bag all over the seat ........................OK wine bottles !! hooks.webp

That seems like a nice addition. Not bad...

Thanks , I'm going to work on making my own hooks for the back though , the problem with this set up is the bags can swing , vs in the back they would rest on the trunk bottom .....................

I'm up in the air on if I should go premium or GT1. Money is a little tight since I'm in the military, Lol. It will be replacing a 2011 VW CC. Had VW's all my life but the Stinger is too gorgeous to pass up.
I was in your same situation and I ended up getting the premium fully loaded you'll save between 10 to 12k the diffrence would be no brembo brakes and the V6 twin turbo engine if your not going to race go for the premium
