What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

The K&N intake increased the throttle response and mid-range as claimed by K&N. I don't have a dyno handy but 9HP, as shown on the included Dyno sheet, seems accurate. Install was straightforward and easy. Intake noise has increased a bunch, especially before the waste gate shuts completely. Letting off the throttle under high boost you get Tokyo Drift levels of blow off valve. Hilarious fun. In my opinion it needs a nice exhaust system to balance it out. Combined with the Uncle piggyback chip it turned a pretty quick car into a testicle crushing kimchi cannon.

Too funny !!~

Driving home tonight and spotted what had to be a high-dollar supercar rear tail-light pattern about a quarter mile ahead. Very rare stuff in our rather small town. I wanted to know what it was so changed to Sport from Eco and started working traffic, etc. carefully but quickly. Of course, that changes the whole attitude and sound of the car.

I was talking about the car ahead and my wife was talking about tickets, etc. The car turned a direction I didn't want to go before I could identify it fully in the dark so I switched back to Comfort and resumed normal driving mode (for passengers in the car). My wife asks, "how did you make the car do all that?" LOL

Snow in the forecast. That may be the end of my fun for a few more days!

Any plans for a quarter mile test any time soon?

Wow, sorry to let you all down! LOL I think it was a Lambo... still in pursuit, though.

Spent the afternoon rebadging the front and rear of my car with the stinger script and E badge after doing the first oil change. Found a chip underneath the front Kia badge and ordered a touch-up kit. Now just waiting for the new tires and tint later this week and I'll be all set.

Got the touch up paint pen.

Where did you order the touch up kit? I need one as well and just planned to go by the dealer Monday.

Ordered from Dr Color Chip. Used it in the past with decent results. Definitely one of those cases where if you didn’t already know it was there you wouldn’t see it.

Did you just pick that up at the dealer? I've spotted two pen-tip-size chips and need to get the touch up paint, too.

I had my dealer order it. Took about two weeks.

TWO WEEKS??!! Mine is taking 2 months.
