What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Poor Merlin. Live a little. Hit the midwest/east coast in the summer. At least for a few days, as long as you can stand the humidity, mosquitoes, etc.. If you have kids (grandkids?) they need to experience fireflies at least once or twice in their life.. We were in Michigan 3-4 years ago with some friends, and our kids and theirs were catching them and putting them in jars.

Since we don't see them in AZ, I didn't get to experience them until I was about 9 or so when we traveled for a family reunion in Illinois. My cousins all thought my sister and I were complete morons because we were fascinated by the fireflies. I don't remember a lot about that trip, but I do remember catching those little glow-butts in a jar.

I think that’s the staple of every kids childhood here, hey even adults, I still try to catch them in my hand. Even our dogs make a night of it, which is fun to watch.

Well I haven’t done it yet, but will be in an hour so once I get out of work. But just got these in while at my work and just sitting on my desk. For now I’m just gapping the plugs while I wait.

I know about "fireflies". It was "lightning bugs" that I was questioning my memory on. Turns out they are the same thing.

Same here I was thinking something may come in there, or with my Injen intake but nothing. But I did get one with the Go Fast Bits blow off valves at least lol!

Well I was able to hustle and got my intake, blow off valves and JB4 + Connect Kit all installed tonight after work. Ran into some trouble finding the right size fore the screws to open up the JB4 enclosure to hook up the connect kit, but after an hour and some Facebook help managed to get it open. Blow off valves make me smile when they whistle . I’ll have to get a video tomorrow morning on it. The intakes didn’t make much of a sound difference (that I can tell) like what I seemed to hear in videos. Not like it matters anyway. Also did the spark plugs along with the JB4, wiggle joint and magnetic spark plug socket, made it happen without having to take off the top of the engine off.

How do you get in and out of your car in that garage? Do you have to crawl in thought the hatch or do you have some kind of remote control to back it out like the BMW 750 does?

LOL - That actually my driveway between the two houses. I usually park more to one side and open the door very carefully. Stinger happens to be wider than my previous cars so getting the recycle bin past the car to the curb is always interesting.

I almost went with an Agency Power intake which is all black as well. But through a (fortunate) mistake during ordering I ordered the red injen which I had switched from originally for the the Agency Power one. But I didn’t bother having it corrected and I’m glad. The red tubes just blend in good in the engine bay and give it some color.
