I've been reading all the brakes threads, and overwhelmingly the cause is US (N. American) spec pads. If you replace them with aftermarket before the OE rotors are trashed, then the new pads work on the OE rotors just fine. There are outlier other causes of shuddering brakes, but at least nine out of ten cases are solved by changing to aftermarket pads: if rotors are swapped out at the same time, or not, it makes no difference.Hey Merlin, quick question, in your opinion are the brake pads the issue with the vibration issues or a combo of both pads and rotors
