What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Hey Merlin, quick question, in your opinion are the brake pads the issue with the vibration issues or a combo of both pads and rotors

I've been reading all the brakes threads, and overwhelmingly the cause is US (N. American) spec pads. If you replace them with aftermarket before the OE rotors are trashed, then the new pads work on the OE rotors just fine. There are outlier other causes of shuddering brakes, but at least nine out of ten cases are solved by changing to aftermarket pads: if rotors are swapped out at the same time, or not, it makes no difference.

Got my new MBRP exhaust installed and fell in love when I hit it and accelerated to 60 . I'll try to get some video up when I can if anyone wants to hear it.

Intakes are done. Can actually tell I drive a turbo'd car now. Spooling and the blow off valves, love it!

That's my daily routine, my car sits in over 100 dgrees for 8 hours . When I get in it, it has been 109 degrees, glad it hasn't happened to mine, I guess I'll have to be conscious of not using the supplied handle....lol!
The problems just keep adding up??? You'd think in this day of technology that these kinds of things would have been worked out by now! No more good ol days!

The passenger side mirror was unresponsive so that had to be replaced, now the door panel, and I'm also having my front bumper removed, realigned and repainted by a body shop because it fits so badly that it makes the hood not line up correctly and it's rubbing against the headlights on both sides causing the paint to scrape off.

Ordered a set of Eibach springs. We'll see if it's as much of a pain in the ass as everyone says it is to install. Will be happy to get rid of all that dead cat space though.

The chipping at the forward, lower corner of the headlight assembly (especially, for some reason, on the driver's side) is a known issue going back to the beginning. I think that it's a design weakness in having a flexible, heavy assembly well advanced beyond the metal fender where it is mounted: but even so, most Stingers don't get this problem. That fitment along the top, inner edge of the assembly is a new one. I've never seen/heard of that before.

It's almost as if there was some sort of mild frontal impact during transport that pushed the entire piece up. Right at the highest part of that arch above the headlight you can tell it's slightly bowed along the flat part on top, as well, and it doesn't line up quite right where the bumper meets the fender. Either way, good on Kia for getting it handled for me, I suppose. My body shop guy also drives a Stinger so I know he will take care of me.

The proper, constant tension, hose clamps came in today for my BMS OCC and tossed them on. Now it looks almost factory and I don't have to worry asbout them loosening up.

I'll second that! Again the problems just keep adding up... aside from my brake shudder at just over 2000 miles, I feel pretty lucky so far, compared to you other guys problems, I can feel your pain, however if Kia is fixing all of it I guess it's gonna be OK! Until the next thing rears it's ugly head.

Mine fits poorly (not as bad as yours) around the headlights too! I've just tried to ignore it, but I may just bite the bullet and take it to a body shop as well. Needs a repaint anyway

Next (and possibly final) phase of upgrades to my girl Ginger…I wrapped the VT big mouth myself (and did a shitty job) as they were red and from a forum member. Don’t think you will be able to really see it but the color match to my GTS was spot on…

What vinyl film did you discover that matched the Federation Orange?? I tried 3m and Oracal colors and they were off a bit.
