What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Installed new C'quence rotors and EBC YellowStuff pads. Also flushed the system with RBF-600 fluid.

I have to work through the break-in period, but the test drive felt much better than the stock pads and deposited rotors. Glad the shudder is gone.

I've got a little over 2000 miles and I am already getting the rotor vibration when braking, it's very annoying, Kia should have addressed this long ago, you spend the better part of $50,000 plus other upgrades that are in my opinion necessary IE, Swaybars, exhaust, subframe collars, etc. Brakes should not be an issue AT ALL! But what do we know?

Besides the fluid what kind of cost for the rotors and pads?

Next (and possibly final) phase of upgrades to my girl Ginger…I wrapped the VT big mouth myself (and did a shitty job) as they were red and from a forum member. Don’t think you will be able to really see it but the color match to my GTS was spot on…

CK71’s from the boys at K8stinger store courtesy of Chris.. and CF type M Diffuser that is also a pretty damn perfect match to the OEM carbon as well..

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Today, after my car had a nice long soak in the sun and heat while I was working, I ripped the door handle right out of the door panel when I was leaving. What the.. Drove straight to the dealership. Service manager says "yea this happened to another Stinger recently.. The whole entire door panel needs to be replaced." Under warranty, thankfully. But I thought Scorpions lived in the heat? This happened to someone else last week and another member mentioned seeing multiple posts like this on some Facebook page…Seems to be quality control issue with newer stingers (21+) because before a month ago I had never seen or heard of this happening anywhere. Hope everything goes smoothly with the replacement.

maybe too much torque when they install the screws that holds it on, and it breaks the plastic backing? (just guessing)

WHAT THE BLEEEEEP! That is completely unacceptable! Did they say what's causing this issue?

Hey Merlin, quick question, in your opinion are the brake pads the issue with the vibration issues or a combo of both pads and rotors
I've never had brake issues this soon with any car ever, Im ready to change both pads and rotors but if it's the pads only? I'll just do new pads.

I've heard great things about Mother's! I personally roll with Chemical Guys cleaner and conditioner and am very happy with the results. The light smell of the conditioner is nice, only lasts a few days, and seems to bring the original smell of the leather out.

Just curious - will a good leather cleaner get out sunscreen stains? I'm not as OCD as some, and I'd rather drive the car, even if it gets dirty, than just have it sit there and drive the minivan, for example. But, wouldn't mind getting rid of some of those stains, if it can be done reasonably easily.

If they are fresh you might get them out, but if they have soaked in, prolly not.
