I didn't do boost by gear when I went to the track and I should have. I did 3 runs, all on Map3. My 60 fts were horrendous: 2.1-2.3. Tires were cold, didn't do a burnout but still managed a 12.4 1/4. I haven't tried the e-brake launch but heard that helps build boost on launch and has helped the AWD guys. For us RWD, it may worsen out lives lolHey, Question, for those RWD guys, with JB4 and meth, what are you doing to help control wheel spin? Who’s using the reduce boost by gear on the JB4 and if you are using that feature, what are
Your settings? I see Terry suggested to reduce by 5 in 1st gear, and 1 in second gear. Running map 7, 93 octane, oem tires on 19 inch rims that are 8 lbs lighter on the rear. Thanks for any suggestions.

#12 is listed as having the snip. I think the only guys that won't do the snip are the hard core Tork platforms. Because it's a BMS initiated find, I believe it's a pride thing. They are few though and most still do it.Did every one of the top 20 use some form of brake boost launch? Numbers 11 and 12 are the only ones that look like they might be possible without a boost assisted launch.
However, both of those times are really excellent RWD launches.
It really appears that brake boosting is a requirement to go fast now.
Yeah the only way people are running 60fts of 1.5s or 1.6s easily is from the BMS brake switch.Did every one of the top 20 use some form of brake boost launch? Numbers 11 and 12 are the only ones that look like they might be possible without a boost assisted launch.

Think the torque converter kills us AWD types, it dont truly pull til bout 15-20mph...no im not doing the brake snip even if it means 60' is better haha
