Tell us more about your break switch mod.
I has a 2013 F150 with a base V6 5 years ago which would not do a brake stand because the ECU would see what I was trying to do and pull throttle and timing. So I unplugged the brake light switch and could roast the tires all night. So i did the same with the Stinger and it built boost and launched hard, so I cut the brake light signal wire at the plug (wire number 5 on the plug diagram) and wired in a deadman switch. The switch always makes contact until you push the button and breaks contact, the ECU thinks car is moving and you can build boost to about 10 psi and 2600 rpm.

Weather kept us from trying to get into the 10's but this Friday looks clear for us. We are having to race in the worst conditions we have seen in years here in NC

Sadly forums are kind of dead, im surprised its is this active on here with social media. We havent been vendors on evo, GTR, supra forums in years and years because it was filled with non sense and false information but im already seeing a bunch of that on here. I just figured it was best to atleast create and account so if anyone wants any actual first hand experience on alot of things with the platform further than what is what is already posted please feel free to message our facebook pages or call us. I randomly check here when I chat with Terry but thats about it
 
I guess that goes for any open community or group.
However it is the people that have first hand experience, like you and some of the vendors here, that help us learn and filter through the crap that has been floating around in other boards and carried through.
Hopefully you become more active here and help us push the platform further, it will be great to see and learn about your findings on the Stinger.

Trust me I have been in talks with a crap load of some of the industry leaders since last year on development its just difficult to get some of them to commit on a market for these right now... However all the Mishimoto updates on here I may or may not have helped on lol. They had a rep visit us months ago and really took a liking to the platform and have been in contact with us on what parts are wanted and needed for the community. I would imagine we will be testing some things for them in the future also.
 
FF This forum does a fairly good job with the Stinger platform. A lot of us don't like FB because of hacking and them gathering personal info on one.
as for your modding Im glad you are taking the Stinger to the next level,but if I was in your shoes laying out tons of cash and trying to really bump up the Stingers 1/4 mile performance ..I wouldn't be here reporting the lack of results either. For the time and money spent your project is pretty lackluster as of now...only mid tens would make your endeavors worthwhile..... Terry's brake mod does more than your complete turbo/ecu package :) Wash

But everyone can do the brake mod and FF is still the fastest for now.

Tonka You just made my point! Terry's brake mod ....zero outlay....FF money spent...who the hell knows?....lol.....and even if they get it down perfect there wouldn't be but a handful of people buying in on that large outlay of cash for not that much over the doable mods....
I would hasten to call FF's package competition as its in a much different time zone....:) Wash
 
LOL like I said exactly why we dont do forums... Who said we have tons of money in this.. and who said we have a ecu package? The turbos arent even very much larger than stock. keep in mind we have already trapped over 5mph higher than any car and never had a clean pass... So its all about getting the cars to work. We work on tons of other kinds of cars and dont have time to just focus on the Kia when we do a ton of LS, GTR and other kind of work.

Believe me they know... Goal for their car all along has been 10.8s in the 1/4. When you're doing something that no one has ever done before, without all the required tools, is tricky business. Their car is a good back end flash map away from 10s from what I've seen.

PS. They aren't selling anything. Pure sells the beta turbos not FFP. They just bought them to report back to the community on the performance. :)
