Seems like everything we suspected is accurate, color choices, 360 camera etc..

Looks like they're still migrating the page structure. There is a trim comparison pop-over available on the build page, and also a standard Kia "features" tab reachable from the build page as well.

Heated Steering Wheel - *Disclaimer - Requires AWD? Wha?

Remote starter as an extra option? Not a deal breaker but one would think that would be included in a $50k car. I guess we are spoiled in what we want in a car. hehe

So the heated steering wheel and AWD are packaged together just like for Genesis.

But if I want AWD, no yellow for me.

If you want a silver or black GT2 you better like the red interior.

If you like "lighter" interiors for your GT2, like the gray, I guess its blue for you.

Puddle lights are not standard as previously indicated. But are an add-on accessory.

So if I want a GT2 AWD with remote start and LED puddle lights I am looking at over 53k. Yikes!

Very interesting indeed.

I also noticed that Panthera metal is only available with the GT trim and no other trims.

Ceramic Silver seems to be exclusive to GT1 and GT2 trims.

Aren't there LEDs on the bottom of the side mirrors or was I thinking those were supposed to be the puddle lights or are those the underside light options? Either way, not a deal breaker but a 'cool' factor for me.

As standard on the start of the build page for the GT trim.


It seems the Sunset Yellow is a "package" that includes the LSD and Drive Wise on the GT.

And all of the vehicle weights are TBD.

I would just like to say, WTF!?. Why can you not pick your interior color after picking an exterior color. Basically they tell you what interior you're getting based on the exterior? Ugh. That just doesn't seem right to me. What if I wanted black on black? Then, up until now, their documents have shown that it was the AWD and rain sensing wipers together. Now, I have to get AWD which sounds like it's less fun to drive to get the heating steering wheel. It doesn't snow here, but I still enjoy my heated steering wheel. Used it on my Optima this morning on my way to work. I'm glad remote start is at least an option though. Overall, I'm not the happiest. Guess this isn't the first time, and it probably won't be the last lol.

Welcome to the club. This roll-out has been an exercise in slow motion on how to annoy many potential Kia converts. Thank goodness we got to see A-Rod and a bunch of models drive it; that totally made up for the lack of options!

I'm like you, WTF? But I think it has to do with the limited production on the Stinger this year. Kinda like sticking your toes in the water before you jump in. Kia is probably testing the markets before they ramp up production. This is both a good move and a bad move. A good move so that if the Stinger doesn't sell well... Bad move because of the hype and the de-content here in the states. But then again, I wouldn't put it past all the rules and regulations and red tape Kia probably has to go through, heh.

The exterior/interior color combos are so unfortunate if you're paying that much you should have be able to choose..

Hopefully, the remote start should be included in the UVO phone app. Because if you want the add-on remote start it comes with a separate key fob... (which I don't want to carry around)

Don't quote me on this but if it is like Kia's other remote start add on, you can "train" your normal key fob to start the car. Downsides are there is no notification on the fob it actually started, and the range is significantly less.

For 500 bux there are several 3rd party options that would be a way better bet. (Including ones that let you set climate controls and seat/steering wheel heaters)
