SSR Performance down pipes sound

Yeah sounds like the ecu pulled power back a bit. At the track last year i was running 12.4, 12.5s then last 2 runs 12.7s. I think mine did the same thing.
Also CAI power typically won't show for 5 or so pulls.

Just did a few pulls yesterday and this morning with my new Dragy :: 0-60 best = 4.58 s ,1/8 mile =8.28 ,1/4 mile =12.77 all Dragy verified .. so my RS chip is working good with my new Borla Cat back exhaust, but still waiting on my Jun Bl DPs to arrive but I am reading on the site and it looks very little power gains with the down pipes , I have a Dyno run booked in for next Thursday. My Awd Stinger GT should I hope have the down pipes by then and if not I will still the Dyno . TonkaBob not sure if I will ever get down to your numbers for 1/4 mile but for my Only car it still be ok

Surprised it’s not lower with race chip..that’s stock numbers ...

Tomorrow I will retest if possible , as I might have back off too soon ,my test area wasn't the best ! Not sure what a stock AWD runs at tbh !

Your car is faster than stock. But it does seem like it should be faster. Granted, there aren't a lot of people posting times with RaceChip tunes so you could be right on for all I know.

Kamauxx,Yes I am not sure if I have seen times for a AWD Stinger GT using RC s,,there is a faster RC chip one level above mine which had 7 maps instead of 6 maps !

This is my Dragy reports

Is there drone with ssr midpipe / oem exhaust?
It does add "drone" relative to stock section of downpipe that SSR pipe replaces. But if you are in cruise control on the highway at < 2k rpm then you won't probably notice any difference from oem. This is just my opinion. Also sometimes under heavy acceleration there is a rasp I am hearing. Doesn't happen all the time.

This will be my last Dragy report using RC Race Chip , until further upgrades are done ✅

Thanks for the information

The non - brembo Stinger front rotors are part number 51712-j5000. The brembos are 51712-j5500.

If I were you, I'd check yours.
MisterMac ,, was your dyno run done on all 4 wheels or was the front drive line disconnected ?? I wish had that horse power !! I may look now at JB4 s with fuel wires !

MisterMac , those are very good numbers you gotten ,,but I really like your 0 to 60 at 3.99 ,, I am not even close to that time , as my best 0-60= 4.52 s ,and I have lots of upgrades !!

Well, full disclosure. The 3.99 0-60 was not dragy verified, it was via a USB OBDII and the torque pro online app. I also had summer tires on a hot day, no spare tire, the a/c off, and a fuel gauge right on "E." So, I was down a little over 100 pounds.

Ok that will perhaps a better time that way , thanks for sharing as I was really getting disappointed after all that I did with my GT :)

I think the issue is that we can’t adjust the launch control .... if we could the stinger would be in the 3’s all day with jb4...lap..race chip etc... I’m sure the numbers from 0-60 don’t truly show the power these things have..
