Now with a reputable source - 2019 options!

Was at a dealer in NJ this weekend, need to decide what to do with my Sunset Yellow, and was told Jan 2019

Maybe he wants you to get 2018 or Jan 2019 is indeed true. But that will be seriously late compared to other markets which are already selling 2019.

That is not good at all.

Indeed. Even though the US is the largest market for Stinger seems like it is least important for KIA, given missing features, interior and exterior colors and combinations and late shipments now.

I remember dealers saying they’d get the 2018 Stinger in Feb or March 2018. And then they hit the dealers end of November 2017. I personally think we’ll see them next month or October. But that’s pure speculation.

Yeah I’m anxiously waiting for these 2019s. I’ve got a pretty sweet deal for a GT2 demo unit on the table. I want the overhead cams. January would be tough. I was secretly hoping Labor Day would mark the “ end of summer sales” and 2019s would start popping up immediately after that.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I realize that this thread is a couple of months old, but I just joined the forum (in fact, this is my first post) and I wanted to thank the OP for posting this info. I have been shopping for a 2018 GT2, but now may switch to a 2019 for the 360 camera and the wireless charging even though I'd be giving up some EOY discounts. Again, I'm new at this, and I may be missing something on the "Build Your Own" page, but it appears that you can no longer get a red GT2 with the red interior in 2019.

There are people on this forum (including myself) who would trade you a black interior for red

Maybe I haven't had enough coffee yet this morning, lol, but I'm not exactly sure what your telling me. Are you saying that you have red GT2 with a black interior and you don't like it?

Someone has a car that has red interior but wants black interior and some exterior color that they couldn't get with black. They will swap all interior red and black parts.

Remote start is also now standard on all models

Where? Shows up as an add on option on Kia website.

You're right, I'm just don't get the add-on option when I build it for some reason then when I looked at the specs I simply misread something.

Just got a 2018 Saturday but I'm going back today to swap it for a 2019

Oh, okay; gotcha.

I'm wondering if Kia discontinued the red/red option because no one was buying/wanting it, or if they just decided that stylistically it didn't look good.

It was added very late in the year on Kia website. Some options came and went. Some people got the red on red before it was showed as an option.

So nothing is set on stone. You might get one.

I saw a post on stingerforum.org about Stinger GT AWD Snow white w/gray leather.

They changed the pic for remote start. Why do you want to switch?

360 camera mostly but heated rear seats is a big plus and wireless charging is cool too. I was still within my limit to return it and had another dealer willing to match the same deal I got for my 2018 with a 2019. The original offered another $400 lower which meant I didn't have to hassle with a second finance guy or sales manager. Also added window tint.

Just saw a 2019 GT2 in Snow White with red leather. Looked absolutely amazing. Never owned or even considered a white car before, but I may have just changed my mind about wanting/getting a Red/Red GT2. And the dealer is even advertising a $3,300 discount on it from MSRP, which is a surprise to me considering the 2019s just came out and they're only advertising a $5k discount on similarly-priced 2018 models.

Sounds like a good deal. Can you share numbers, if you don't mind?

A dealer tried to sell me a 2018 demo model with 3k miles on it at 2/3k discount. I was able to see 2700-3000 discount on 2018 GT2 models.

Edit: Yes white with red is indeed beautiful.

I know my monthly is high, negative equity sucks but I made poor decisions earlier in life.

I had $5k down but as part of the negotiations from the 2018 to the 2019 they went down on the price of the vehicle and took $400 less as down payment. I'll be putting that $400 down on the buyout. This payment is what I wanted going in but expected higher.

To make short work of the pictures:
Just the car cost $46,454.68 out the door. This doesn't include down payment, negative equity, rent charge, or added warranty and does include the lease incentive. By out the door I mean that number includes taxes, licensing, and fees.

Not shown in the pictures, the warranty is 72 months, 100k miles and free tint.

Let me know if there's anything else that could be useful. All in all I feel like I got a pretty good deal. It's a white GT2 RWD with black interior and I'll share some pictures as soon as I actually get the the car if anyone wants.

From the attachments, it appears that you paid $50,418 for the car itself. That's almost exactly the same figure of the car I was referencing in my post above. The dealer here is advertising a price of $50,439.

ETA: I tried to link the ad, but apparently I'm too new a member to the forum to do so.
