MY21 Aussie Release Date

Spoke with KIA Customer support... I wasn't convinced my dealer wasn't giving me the run around (for those who dont recall, having ordered in November in Newcastle NSW, my dealer was telling me the car won't arrive until April)

After a few pleasantries were exchanged with KIA Customer Service, they secured a vehicle for March delivery for me, which was apparently allocated (but unsold) to a dealer in Melbourne... So they basically switched the orders around. A very pleasing outcome in my mind.

In my mind that probably means they are expecting a shipload of cars to arrive in February some time.

I will leave it a few more days before following up and trying to get some more definitive timelines. Hope this gives some of you guys/gals a little bit of hope

The Glovis Condor is on its way to Guam which was the stop it last did before it came to Australia the last time. Chances are it'll be Australia next for you lot.

For recently delivered cars, worth checking under your steering wheel to ensure the dealer has removed all the protective tape. Was poking around and felt something strange. Been driving around 3 weeks and didn’t notice. Wouldn’t be surprised if there were others.

Did you just message Kia.com.au from the website ? If so, what details did they need to find you in the system? I’m in NZ so assume something similar. My dealer has gone quiet on me and hasn’t replied to my emails for over three weeks now. Not as bad as your wait time (only early December) but something just feels off.

I provided details of my dealer. If you have an order number I think it would help then hugely to get you answer.

I don't pay much attention to the "it will affect the resale value", bartering affects that more at the time.

I think mine will be a 2020 year but MY21

Not sure who you’re asking as you quoted yourself, but mine was a Nov 2020 build
