I can confirm that a new owner based in WA is taking delivery of a new Orange one next Monday with the new badging.
He post a photo of it still at the dealership this afternoon on the Kia Stinger Owners Club Australi/NZ Facebook group.

I wonder when they placed the order. According to number of ppl online there are many out there with orders from Jan/Feb this year and still no production date.

Taking delivery of my new Stinger this week. Unfortunately it's still got the old badging although it's an August 21 production date, must be using up all the old badges in the smaller market places (like NZ). We can have any colour interior we want as long as it's black (Henry Ford must be working for Kia NZ). I guess I'll be doing a bit of rebadging soon.

Put a deposit on a white with red interior yesterday, est. Jan 2022 delivery. Dealer was able to confirm and state in the contract it would be MY22.

Yes, I believe so. Additionally it has the suede interior package which was a limited edition for the NZ market.

did the dealer give you factory order number? If not, ask for it, then call Kia headoffice and confirm production date. If you are supposed to get it in Jan, it would have to be a cancelled order. Otherwise, get ready for 12 month wait.

Yes, got an order number. Must have been a cancelled order then, luckily in the exact colour combo I was looking for!
