Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

The Lozic TCU can not be adjusted but can be transferred to another vehicle. The ECU can be sent back for adjustments but not transferred to another vehicle unless sent to Lozic.
I like pressure 2. Crisp enough for sport driving and pretty smooth in comfort but not like stock.
I ordered originally with pressure 2. Then I contacted him a few days later and asked to be switched to pressure 3. That's why I said adjusted. It's possible though that he had not finished up my order when I contacted. The language barrier can be tough sometimes .

Possibly, if not shipped I can see him just shipping you a different TCU with pressure 3, but I was told could not be remapped.

I'm getting ready to send my ECU back anyway this winter. Customer service has been good. I want the top speed limiter removed to see what it can really do.

Heading to the track this weekend. Going to be fairly cold (59 as the high) but hopefully will get a few good runs in. I have the ECU (1.4bar) and TCU (pressure 2, -5%).

I also have the JB4 with WMI, that I will be fine tuning throughout the day. I will do the first run with the WMI and JB4 off just for reference

Only other mods are BMS Intakes and 1 step colder plugs

I love the pressure 3

I have read all the posts!.....and I may have a few questions for you guys.

I drive 2018 G80 sport AWD, tuned with JB4 for over 3 years, no issues at all, but I'm thinking about getting Lozic's TCU, just for now as I noticed, some of you are using it successfully with JB4. The G80 sport doesn't have the launch control. Would the "Launch control torque limit" set to "OFF" let me rise the rpm to ~3000? my car is heavy ~4600 lbs. traction isn't a problem, I don't spin tires at all, I run Michelin PS4s 255/35 and 285/30.

Reading all the posts should get a trophy.

I can't answer your question, but coming in and reading over 100 pages takes dedication..I started following this thread in the 70s of pages and oof, it was a long read.

To answer your question, you could try contacting lozic directly and see if he knows.

Going to start a separate thread soon. After having LOZIC tune and now LAP3, I am going to do a write up of the pros/cons/differences.

I will say that my LAP3 has broke all my records that I had with Lozic.

Full weight, 20-inch wheels, full tank of gas, no WMI. Complete daily driven set up. ( I run CPI on E40 to E50)

Can you run stage 2.5 without meth?

Doing it right now. BMS charge pipe injection on E40ish currently.
The Lap3 tcu tune is so much more than Lozic, is it worth the price difference? Also, I don't see options for the different pressures and modes like Lozic. I am really interested in TCU tunes, just don't like the prices yet.

I think its only 200 more than the LOZIC. Last time I emailed LOZIC he wanted 1150. LAP3 has the "shifting pressure" options on their website when ordering the TCU.

I honestly thought the same thing as you. "why would i pay more for LAP3". There are a few differences to my surprise that I like better with LAP3. Mainly the downshifts are soo much smoother. The LOZIC TCU 2nd to 1st gear downshift scared the shit out of me every time haha. Ill post my review soon. But to answer your question, yes it was worth it.

I had no gripes with my LOZIC TCU tune. Great company and the TCU was awesome. ECU I never had but have my reasons why I didn't go with LOZIC ECU tune.

I did, but since he's using google translator, I think some of my questions were lost in translation, lol

I wonder if anyone tried to launch without using factory's LC. If yes, are the results the same as using LC? can I build higher boost and RPM?

impressive time to 60. what are your reasons for not going Lozic ECU? just curious. also what kind of peak boost are you seeing? reason I ask is it seems like 1.5 bar tune with Lozic is basically same boost as Jb4 with WMI. I assume CPI would be similar on map 7 with JB4. I get the TCU portion, but still trying to wrap my hands around how much better Lap3 or Lozic is vs. JB4 on Map 7 with WMI or CPI. I assume you are logging with the JB4.

I was able to build 7psi before releasing the brakes with only 60ish% throttle. Launch control only activates when the throttle is over 90%

Same issue i ran into. I just coudlnt get a solid answer. Their TCU tune was great. I just read and heard first hand about ECU issues and I tried asking question to them about it and couldn't get solid answers. Just didn't feel comfortable pulling the trigger on an ECU tune knowing I didnt have a solid support system.

0-60 wasn't even at full potential. Literally just a daily driven full interior'd car with a full tank of gas, dropped my daughter off to school. It will do 3.1 or lower when prepped to try and run faster. (my track wheels/tires, weight reduction, remove spare tires/golf clubs etc)

Before this week, I ran JB4 with CPI and full bolt ons. Nothing crazy. Just full bolt ons with JB4 and CPI. For what it was, the car was freaking insane and was plenty fast and safe. "same boost" means nothing. I run lower boost now with the LAP3 ECU and the car is more powerful and faster than it has ever been.

Boost is not everything to make more power and run faster times. There are so many other factors in a "tune" that take place when it comes to "tuning". Love BMS, love thir products, but JB4 only adjusts so much when it comes to tuning.

I still use JB4 because it essential and a must for me to run LAP3 ECU without water/methnaol. Again, I run BMS charge pipe injection without methanol on an ECU tune which no one has tried. So JB4 still plays a role on my setup and I wouldn't be able to run it with out it. Unless, i ran water/methanol set up.

Looking forward to reading this. I'm sure it will help a lot of people that are torn between the 2.

Saved about $400 or so going with Lozic TCU. Had a great experience with customer service. Paid about a grand canadian.
