Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Nice run! I have a Panthera Metal 2019, hoping to get those times in a little bit. Have a few more parts coming, need to order a TCU but hoping they will come down a bit.

Nice, but is that AWD? if I don't want to snip, then TCU is the other answer right?

Yes, if you want a good launch, choices are mostly brake snip or TCU. I tried the brake launch, didn't work for me, car wanted to creep forward.

It is awd, for rwd you need slicks or close too. I still think for a great launch awd or rwd it's snip and 2 step. I'm launching 2600, on logs closer to 3k. No tcu tune.

What plugs are recommended for the ecu tune?
You most definitely want to change your plugs. As previously stated, HKS M45iL is what you want. They have been proven to last longer than the Denso equivalent. The stock plugs, with the stock tune, can sometimes be problematic. Don't risk a potential issue by not changing the plugs. It's really not hard to do.

I just realized I also recently did the JB4 EWG wires and it claims "improve boost response, spool up, shifting performance, and overall feel"

So that probably helped too

Had my Densos in over 15k so far no issues 1/3 of the price.

I had worried making this video.
Even though I've heard it, it's hard to compare.
I shot it with a GoPro, and all the loud sounds sounded the same.
In the case of pattern A, the popcorn sound is small and then gradually increases.
In the case of pattern B, the popcorn sound is constant and loud.

made extra. Made the popcorn pop when downshifting

There was a distortion of information because the person who filmed and made it was different.
Only the Lozic ECU is a tuned stinger with a 1.5 bar setting.
Gage points to 1.6, so his younger brother who made the video wanted 1.6 and wrote it down.

ECO 0.3bar
Comport 0.7bar
Sport 1.5bar

However, ECO and Comfort are slightly different depending on the load and situation.
Since it is not a direct boost control, there are some fluctuations.

I made this with the intention of improving my understanding of the options of Lozic ECU.

Thank you all always

Is it possible to have the popcorn in sport mode only?

Yes. There’s a place in the order form for you to select “off” if you don’t want the pops/bangs in comfort.

Btw, been running the ECU and TCU for about two weeks now. I know it’s been said like 37 times already, but I just can’t stress how much different/better the car feels now. I would never recommend going broke over a car, but if you can afford it and are on the fence, it’s worth it. It felt a bit sketchy talking to someone overseas via instagram or email, but they were very responsive, polite, and shipped it out quickly. I ordered at different times and received the TCU in a little less than a week, and the ECU in 10 days.

Love these kinds of replies, makes me pull the trigger on the TCU asap.

I recently just installed the Jb4 so ill be enjoying that before getting the ecu tune.

You should do some draggy pulls for us lol

Be sure to do the fuel and EWG wires!!!

May be a dumb question, but I keep seeing posts on the EWG wires lately. People are running this in conjunction with JB4 or JB4+Lozic ECU correct? Without a JB4, is there a way to control the EWG wires?

The EWG wires being discussed are pinned directly into a JB4. I want to say that the Lozic ECU tune would have some control over the EWGs (without the wires for use with the JB4) but that claim could use confirmation.

AYYY WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 2018 GT AND YOUR NEW 22?

Just to make this clear, seeing that this is the "Lozic ECU TCU AWD" thread:

Fuel and EWG wires are connected to and controlled by a JB4. If running the Lozic ECU, the only way the Fuel and EWG wires control anything is if you run Map 6 on the JB4.

I think the only way to run anything JB4 is to run MAP6. Other than logging. I could be wrong.

Map 6 would be enabled and if you want to raise boost, AFR, Meth etc, you would have to enter the values in JB4 and turn the correct bits on/off.
