Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Will the dealer ever be able to tell I had the lap3 tcu installed if I change it back to the stock tcu?
I don’t see how they could. It’s seperate from the ecu which will change air/fuel, boost, timing which is what they would likely look for if anything went wrong and they felt like digging into the cars data. That’s at least how I view the situation.

No once you change back to stock they won't know. And if you came in for an issue that's not trans related they won't even check the TCU.

Perfect thank you man

I just joined the Lozic ‘family’ and put in an order for an ECU and TCU. Lots of Stinger purchases this week for me. I’m excited!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Nice. Howd you spec out the ecu?
ECU: 1.5 bar, Boost ready-On, catalyst On TCU: Pressure 3 and shifting pattern (8%), launch control off.
I didn’t do any of the flames, popcorn, bubble stuff. With NGT primaries, Jun BL cat delete secondaries, and a Borla, I’m good there and don’t need more.
now the wait for them to get here.

I still don’t fully understand the differences between A and B. Does one have louder pops than the other?
Yeah I cant really tell the difference between the two. And how is this optioned like is this pops or the bang option?

The only difference I could differentiate was the type A is a more rapid popping pattern compared to type B. The loudness shouldn’t be any different.

Hey, how do you like the Lozic tcu tune? Difference? Worth it?
I have pressure 2, -5%. I’ve had it for a couple weeks now, drove about 10 hours total last weekend. Overall I’m pretty happy with it. I like how it lets me launch like a madman, stays in the gear when using paddles, and the increase in shift pressure.
Only complaint is that in comfort mode it holds the gear a tad longer before shifting. It’s just not as smooth when going through the first couple of gears compared to the stock tuning. Some may not notice or mind this.
Is it worth the price? Considering it comes as a whole new unit I would say it’s an okay price, I think a couple hundred cheaper would be a better price but that’s just my opinion.

Cool! Thanks for the run down. Surprised I didn't see a jb4 or ecu tune on your build.

Yeah that's what I heard.

What is “installed stop go, ISG (Idle Stop and Go)”? Also, is catalyst heating at cold start already in the stock tune?
It is asking whether there is a function that automatically turns the engine off and on when stopped.

I had worried making this video.
Even though I've heard it, it's hard to compare.
I shot it with a GoPro, and all the loud sounds sounded the same.
In the case of pattern A, the popcorn sound is small and then gradually increases.
In the case of pattern B, the popcorn sound is constant and loud.

made extra. Made the popcorn pop when downshifting

There was a distortion of information because the person who filmed and made it was different.
Only the Lozic ECU is a tuned stinger with a 1.5 bar setting.
Gage points to 1.6, so his younger brother who made the video wanted 1.6 and wrote it down.

ECO 0.3bar
Comport 0.7bar
Sport 1.5bar

However, ECO and Comfort are slightly different depending on the load and situation.
Since it is not a direct boost control, there are some fluctuations.

I made this with the intention of improving my understanding of the options of Lozic ECU.

Thank you all always

What exactly is the AWD tune?

The Stinger is a four-wheel drive based on rear-wheel drive, where the torque goes to the rear axle first and then forwards.
Or, when there is a difference in rotation between the front and rear, the torque is transmitted forward.
At this time, I tuned it to send it forward faster.
I tried to make it feel a little bit like a mechanical transfer.

In this way, the eLSD of the Veloster N and i30N can also be tuned.
