3.3TT Low Oil Pressure

Mine started to leak couple weeks ago. Wil be taking care of it, once it gets warm enough. 2018 with 145k miles.
Mine is not leaking but the sensor still comes on every once in awhile. I get the pressure tested everytime I get my oil changed. My mechanic does it complimentary since I discussed with him this issue. He said you can run on the faulty sensor just keep checking the pressure regularly.

When yours leaks where do you find the oil?

That's awesome, the vast majority of owners just assume it's the sensor and don't bother diagnosing/confirming by checking the actual oil pressure.

Good on your mechanic.

Manual for 3.3 requires engine out to replace oil pressure sensor.
WTH you taking about, only the upper and lower plenum need to be removed.

Any chance your guy can explain how he tests it quickly? I wouldn't mind having an easy test to run each oil change if this ever happens to me.

If I were a guessing man, I would guess it is a simple adapter like this one, or this one, but specifically to fit our Stinger oil filter threads.

For all I know, the ones I linked might actually fit our cars directly, and we just don't know yet.
No they don’t. These are them one for exhaust and one for intake. Both banks under the valve cover.

I thought we were talking about measuring the oil pressure through the oil filter housing?

Oh my bad you’re right these replies were supposed to be in a completely different thread. Yes you’re correct.
