Laughing gas, who will be the first?

You want to rethink that comment?

Lets talk tuning, piggy back vs ECU flash.

Terry came into a thread about using N2O not about a product you make. Kind of like starting a thread about how ECU tunes are better than piggy back tunes.
Speaking of the ecu vs piggy back thread- most informative and interesting thread I've read in a long time.
If all we talk about is jb4 having boost by gear all your ad revenue is going to walk away.

If I was going to go in to one of his threads to correct his misconceptions (e.g. "talk trash") that would be the thread to do it in. But out of forum decorum I've just avoided it. Looked like this thread was to discuss everyone's opinion on N20, and since I have a strong opinion and a lot of experience with it, am happy to participate. It's certainly easier for me to post here in a one on many format than answer the same N20 related questions over and over again via email. Regardless it appears posts that don't conform to the "awesome do it bro" narrative are frowned upon. :)
I'd like to hear more on the pros and cons of NOS but saying its cheating and that its fuel isn't increasing my knowledge on the topic.
Fine to say you prefer not to use it.

Agreed it would be nice to have more in depth threads with knowledgeable contributors without getting into shady sales tactics of fear mongering and “this one time this thing happened, which makes all of product X bad”

Not sure what the ad revenue comment is about though.

Details matter. N20 is a power adder; WMI is a fuel. We can discuss the differences if you'd like.

Somebody is getting paid for this and you or the forum owner needs readers.Screenshot_2018-11-30-17-43-18.webp

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Agreed maybe you mis-typed before.

Maybe, I don't always proof-read my posts. But I just scrolled back in the thread and didn't notice any typos of that sort. Can you link me to the post so I can correct it?

Well, no names were mentioned and wr have 3 piggy back options on this forums. So are we assuming that its Terry that we are talking about?

Next, is a piggy back better than a tune. Because we have a thread deducated to discussing that. I am willing to hear you opinions on that in the proper place :)

Well, participate in them and ask the questions.

What determines a product to be "bad" will never be an opinion from my end. I will only post facts, and if need be, purchase said competitors part and prove my claim.

A bigger turbo is a power adder, do we need to discuss that also?

Oh, wait... according to you, n2o is cheating ;)

I’m not assuming, based on interactions on FB and here it’s pretty easy to tell where most of your shots are aimed. I don’t have an issue with it until you try to claim your taking the high road while your feet are firmly planted elsewhere.

I know. I literally linked to it in my comment.

Well, participate in them and ask the questions.

I have, and also called you out for the tactics I mentioned in that thread.

None of the moderators receive benefits for volunteering our time. Any ad revenue Sal receives, along with supporting vendor and member contributions, simply help pay for the site to exist. Nobody is getting rich off this!

The whole point of this kind of community is to encourage sharing of idea and information. As stated, this has been a very informative discussion so far. I'm enjoying it.

My personal goal is a Stinger that will effortlessly run 11's, and continue to embarrass insecure muscle-car pilots at the strip or on the street. I might do a track day, but to be honest, the roads in my "back yard" are what this car was designed for and I can enjoy them whenever I like.

We share the same personal goal. We have another local who we have been using for tune development, he only has intakes at this time. He is running 12.5 with his Stage 0 tunex and we hope to have him running 11.9 next year when the track opens with Stage 2 and just intakes. Then, we will make an attempt to run 11.9 with the factory air boxes back on the car.

This would really make a statement for the community :)

What happens on FB, should propably stay on FB... but, lets remember, I had Terry blocked for the last 3 months on Facebook, and he had to be snarky and start saying things about me. So, I unblocked him. Hopefully, that clears up the resons he has my personal attention now :)

My "tactics"?

Well, point out where I have been wrong in my comments. The forums are for posting "information", not personal opinions. I posted maps from the ECU, I shared info, and it was valid info.

Now, if you wish to quit pointing fingers and claiming our tactics are focused on one person, maybe we can all learn something, vs who has the biggest e-kwak ;)

I admit I do see both sides and agree with half of each of your comments, but just have to say it disappointing watching you both go back and forth like bickering children... Every other thread seems to be turning into “my dad can beat up you dad” nonsense.

We all know everyone wants to be #1, but don’t understand why there is so much discontent between fellow Stinger tuners. You all argue like there is a night a day difference between your products and one is significantly better than the other. However all the results show otherwise. Everyone is within a few HP and 0.1 seconds in the 1/4m. Each has its own advantages and people will ultimately decide what is most important to them before they purchase. I think it would be better for the whole community if you both stop taking jabs at each other and just stick to the topics at had.

The bottom line, is NOS will obviously add a lot of power and surely help break records. A few people will eventually use it and make some of the quickest Stingers. However, it’s absolutely true all the credit for the records will be contributed to the NOS, not the tuner. So it’s also a fair statement to say that NOS is and always will be considered cheating. There is a reason even NOS themselves calls their primary systems “Cheaters”!;)
NOS 02001NOS NOS "CHEATER" fits Holley 4-Bbl / Carter AFB
IMHO, we all on the same Stinger team and will progress much faster working together. You’re both right and are doing great things for the Stingers, so please keep it civil and on on topic before more people get turned off by your rhetoric.

I agree with your sentiment and a few points I've made could certainly have gone unsaid. But if you've been following not only this thread but the Facebook threads and others you'll see there is a common theme. John jumping in and spreading FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) everywhere. While I do throw barbs his way every now and again (we're all only human) most of my time is spent trying to clear up his mess.

I posted my times in FB and was un fairly attacked there. So i dont think this is a John thing. John and Terry both have alot of passion and butt heads. Hell, i butt heads with Terry and am not a vendor and am the most mellow easy going guy you will ever meet. I'm trying to make Stingers faster than other cars so share what i know.
