Well Golly! After I did the update, I scrolled thru all the nature sounds just to check them out. After deciding they were almost entirely useless, I turned off the car and promptly forgot about it. The next time I started the car and my wife was with me, the audio came on to one of the nature sounds. She immediately asked "What the Hell is this?" I explained and she said, "Well that's just dumb." I had no argument.
If you choose to reinstall, it actually does download a newer version (CK19.USA.SOP.V120.201013.STD_H versus the previous CK19.USA.SOP.V115.200401.STD_H). I imagine this is just whatever they are using to do the check for the latest version at that point hasn't been updated yet. I should note this is for the USA 2019-2020 version, I did not download the 2018 Canadian version. You can check the 2018_Stinger_CA.ver file it downloads though to check what it's doing (if you tell it to reinstall).Notice at the bottom notes the new update from yesterday, yet the installer reports that the update files on my computer from 6 months ago are already the latest version. ???

Thanks for verifying. I imagined that might be the case, but good to know you already tried itIf you choose to reinstall, it actually does download a newer version (CK19.USA.SOP.V120.201013.STD_H versus the previous CK19.USA.SOP.V115.200401.STD_H). From what I can see and tell, they added some useless graphics to the USB music screen, but did not fix the glaring problem of said graphics blocking the space where the title of the song needs to go to not be cut-off. They also didn't fix the lack of scrolling for titles that are too long to fit (which is about 95% due to the aforementioned design problem).I had a readme/change log file that detailed the changes of the August update. I don't recall where I got it. Is there such a thing for the November update?
Can you not just press and hold the button to program it? I move mine around all the time. This update completely f*cked the radio/XM presets. I know a lot don't bother with Sirius, I have a cheap plan that was grandfathered in from way back. It's nice when I don't want to mess with USB/Bluetooth audio. Anyway, they removed all my presets numbers, changed the way you save your stations and there's no ability to change the order their listed. I have 8 channels saved in a spcific order based on my listening preference. Now they're all lined up numerically and I haven't found a way to rearrange them.
On the plus side Kia finally changed the wheel button behavior. Now whether the radio or map is displayed scrolling works in the same direction. Those that were driven nuts by this will rejoice.

yep.. dug through the menus for a long time trying to change it back...
Yeah, that's a bummer. Makes sense if you are connected via Bluetooth. That is how my previous vehicle worked. But if you are hard wired into CarPlay that makes no sense.yep.. dug through the menus for a long time trying to change it back...doesn't look changeable.
I personally like the change. It might be nicer if it was reversed (short press for Siri and long press for the Nav system). I wonder why this release doesn't have a features guide or whatever the previous releases called it.
