Should be right! That what Nick told me too. But luckily he had one left in stock and grab it right away from him. Installed today and i can really feel the difference it's like Comport is Sport mode now and i love it.

Btw my question now is the car will past smog test after installing this DP?

I don’t have emissions testing in Texas, but from what I gather you may fail a sight inspection. Not sure about any computer readings

Removing the secondary cats won't affect the computer (OBD) reading of emissions, as the sensor for that is upstream (after the primary cats, which remain).

I thought California still used a tailpipe sniffer, but according to this they don't - looks like you should be OK.

New Smog Check Test

Steve Co ,, did you have your GT Stinger run on a AWD Dyno ,, just wondering what you base line was :))??

No, I've never had the car on a dyno. If I can coax a little more power out of it while keeping it close to stock for noise and appearance, I'm all for it - but not looking to test the limits.

Of course the inspector would have to know what to look for too. The SSR's don't scream aftermarket. I too wonder if it will pass the tailpipe test. In Texas here too, but that is checked in El Paso county.

Steve Co , I found a huge power difference between RWD Dyno and the reading I just seen On a true AWD Dyno , around 314hp for a RWD on Dyno and 265 on a RWD GT stinger , so it looks our AWD drive train loses a lot in the start ,, but still pulls well :) my awd Dyno run here only hit between 320 and 337hp ,, torque was very good though for me !!

My stock AWD dyno was 318.75 whp.

Mister Mac , not bad it looks like DynoCom that was used for my runs was a bit stingy on the number s by all accounts lol and I never got to do a stock Dyno run, as I had changed the plugs , Chip, I take with muffle delete at that time lol

Now with the Borla Cat back and soon to get here down pipes, I will try to get on a Dyno for one more chance at 3 runs lol

You have the pressertech tune right? If so, did you get the tune modified for the SSR pipes?

Yes, I do. Pressertech said the was no additional tuning needed with the SSR pipes. In my experience, the pipes allowed my maximum torque to be reached nearly instantaneously. I won't know for sure until the dyno though.

Hopefully I will get back onto the Dyno this Friday and see where I am at with the Tune plus SSR Downpipes.
Mister Mac , let us know your results please when done ✅ as soon as my JUN BL down pipes come in , I will Being doing the same and report back to the Stinger GT community on here , just recently had the Borla S type Cat back exhaust put on and so far I really like it !!!!

Wow your HP MisterMac , are way better mine are which are running 320 hp in Race mode.. So I have just sent email to Race Chip support with a copy of my Dyno Report , I hoping they can change the Mapping for my AWD Stinger GT !

Mister Mac ,, what hardware upgrade s have added to your AWG GT Stinger as you got great WHP and very good FTLBs ???

Aside from the @PRESSERtech LLC ECU tune, effective in this numbers was only drop-in K&N filters. All else was stock.

Since then I've added the SSR downpipes only.

I have sent a message off to race chip RS as my WHP should be much higher than the 320 whp I gotten on the Dyno , I hope they cab remap it for me again :)
