I only have the midpipes and also hear something like a gurgle when taking the foot off the gas and going slow. Thought it might be something loose but only hear it when off the gas and going slow.
It’s barely there and honestly I hear more turbo spool than anything. Again only when I rev is with the door open. I doubt you hear it if you aren’t looking for it, and I for sure don’t hear it in the cabin while driving.
I hear it when the car is decelerating. Usually it's when I'm approaching a red light or in a parking lot. It's always when my foot is off the accelarator.
You're right. In fact I am disappointed with the sound of the exhaust with the DPs installed. Definitely not heard the same to the SSR Performance video sound (I really liked, a lot, the sound that is what I was looking for my car) in its test Stinger (stock like mine). I thought that in addition to the DPs had the axle back installed as well, but it turns out that the European and Latin versions of the Stinger have a less noisy exhaust system than the American / Canadian Stinger.....go figure !!!.
So, I'm thinking of installing the SSR Performance axle back to get the sound I want, hoping there is no drone since the stock cat back is less noisy than the american one.

I am pretty sure you’ll have drone. My understanding is that the mufflers on the US version are different, and that’s it. So if you swap the mufflers out it will be as loud as a US version with that same setup. Maybe magnaflow and SSR midpipes?

It sounds TERRIBLE now, very raspy and even flatulent at take off. They're combined with the ark grip so I was expecting it to be louder but this is ridiculous.

Crap, i was hoping the Arks H and X pipes would help the rasp but you must need a resonator x pipe as others have said.
You still have primary cats right?
Glad to see you posted that additional piece of information. I definitely wasn't looking for LOUD when I install the downpipes on an otherwise stock exhaust.
From what I've read, you'll get significantly more of a power gain from the downpipes than you would from the cat-back system. Maybe the ARK is what you should consider selling if you find the combination overpowering - do you still have the stock exhaust parts?
