Well, between climates and surface, conditions will certainly be different. I'm excited

AWDs will be slower, RWDs will be same or faster.

Well I did go to the 1/8 mile track yesterday like I said I would....geez it was super crowded...and I had a serious flustercluck.....made 2 runs at first on map 2 racing this camaro a new one stock. the two times I raced him I managed to screw up and not get launch control working...the lines were long at one point start the car move up wait start the car move up...yall get the picture im sure....so added to that the stinger fell flat on it face on the one to two shift....well I looked at the csv file and then said screw it and left the track....so im leaving the gate ready to get on the service road and I switched to sport mode...oh crap Wash you dumbazz you didn't get into sport mode each time you raced...so dumbazz me turned around and got back in the gate and ran for the third time the Camaro....of course now launch control came on and the stinger didn't fall flat and I was on his door at the finish....this kid races brackets,so he left me sleeping at the line but I almost got him.....so here's what im thinking...the Stinger aint made for 1/8 mile....last week I almost beat a dodge srt 426 at the finish and almost beat the Camaro...yeah I know almost don't mean crap.but what it tells me there is gonna be a different story in the 1/4 mile....I still cant get my 60 ft under 2....so theres a problem with my driving I guess....cant wait for the 1/4 mile track to open....when I did run with sport its the same as last week 89 mph and 8.2....consistent car....crappy dumbazz driver :) Wash

Ran a couple today. Roads are shit but I tried to haze em and get some heat into the tires. No power loss 1st run. 2nd run dumped right at the top. 0 to 60s were shit but I ran a good almost valid earlier in the day.View attachment 19312 View attachment 19315 View attachment 19316Got some logs this time with a iat wire.
Map 7? So like 21+ psi? Did you knock your way to that ET? Lol

I'm assuming that's why it fell on it's face. Ran out of fuel.

I dunno, every test I've seen between the draggy and 1/4 show the times to be really really close.
Yes, but the comparisons are done on the same run. A track is going to give a huge advantage in traction compared to the street so we can assume faster times will be seen. The only thing I'm curious about is if the added traction benefits are going to outweigh the added cold air benefits we are seeing people get from the street

Something interesting to note is that all the JB4 equipped vehicles used 19-21psi maps to achieve their results.

The Lap3 ProTuned cars all used a 1.3bar(18.8psi max) map.

Does anyone know what the tork ECU tune uses?

What I like seeing is minimal mods with maximum performance :)

You have that wrong. JB4 uses 15-17psi, Lap3 clearly states on their dynos they use around 21psi

Well being the beta tester for the ProTuner, I can tell you that you're 100% incorrect.

The modes are as followed and 100% accurate.
Mode 0 - Oem 14psi max
Mode 1-1.2bar (17.4psi)
Mode 2-1.3bar (18.85psi)
Mode 3-1.4bar (19.58psi)

I'm speaking of the 1/4 thread and to the results as such not dyno, but since you mentioned it, has anyone else replicated the insane numbers that BMS has on their site to advertise the JB4?

I mean with little to no mods, some good gas and gapped spark plugs?!

You must wear a wizards hat to work Terry!

Well youre so equipped and apparently the expert so let's all take your word for it

Y u mad?

Let's not start the lap3 v jb4 debate here lol. It's been pretty civil as of late let's keep it at that. Lap3 customers have done some dynos and terry posted his dynos not sure if many customers have done them.... BUT the numbers speak for themselves. Terry and jb4 users have some great times, not as good as tonkas but for a piggyback better than I'm sure most expected. Lap3 users dont seem to enthused about track times or dragy times.

Here we go again. Anyone questions anything about JB4...out come the trolls. Damn, and I thought it was going to be different here .smh

Jb4 has a big following. I understand what you are saying but if you think the sky is green try convincing the rest of the world it's not blue, going to be hard even if you are right.
