Haha. Maybe just make a kill switch for an easy access.Yea, I have done that for the last few months. Just takes a few minutes. I have been satisfied with my logs since I started doing that so I thought "Why stop now"?

No, that is a good question and yes I leave the hatch open before I close and lock the doors. I typically pull the hatch down to just before it latches while I let it rest. I do that to keep the flies out of the car. If the hatch accidently latches then it will be a pain to get into the car so make sure it doesn't latch. So after you close and lock the doors how do you get to the battery? Did you leave the hatch open. Sorry bear with me pls.
Here’s a map 1 pull 1-3 gear after the ECU reset. The highest value I see is 4.5 when I initially start flooring the pedal. After that the highest is goes is 0.8
I ran another map 2 log at about 9am. IAT still pretty low about 100F. 0.8 across all cylinders.Just the kickdown no problem log looks much better. I would give it a day or two and re log just to check it.

Yes I will re log when outside temperature reaches the max for the day. I want to test a theory if the engine will keep performing well even when iats reach 140+ If not I think I would have to at least upgrade ICLooks good re log in a couple days and see if anything has changed
It is a fallacy that IATs are directly proportional to ambient air temperature.Yes I will re log when outside temperature reaches the max for the day. I want to test a theory if the engine will keep performing well even when iats reach 140+ If not I think I would have to at least upgrade IC
Intercooler absolutely! What’s your ambient temperature?
Nice log and timing is not bad at all.
I want to try map 3. I think I might install the EWG before I go with that map. Here is my one my logs on 91 octane and E30 mix.
The EWG wires will increase your boost. If you are worried about ignition retarding with map 3 then try it without the wires first. Get a good baseline pull without the EWG wires. If that looks OK then install the EWG wires and give Map 3 or perhaps even Map 4 a try with the EWG settings turned on. Jumping right into Map 3 with EWG settings is not a good idea. One step at a time is the best practice.Intercooler absolutely! What’s your ambient temperature?

I was thinking of getting the EWG connectors but don’t know what they do lol What exactly do they do and what would they improve?Intercooler absolutely! What’s your ambient temperature?

They give you control of the wastegates and they allow you to fine tune boost up or down at individual rpms. They were originally intended to allow people with catless down pipes to not overboost. However, they offer very fine control of the turbos so they MIGHT be beneficial in other situations as well.I was thinking of getting the EWG connectors but don’t know what they do lol What exactly do they do and what would they improve?
Oh ok I don’t think I’m ready for that yet. I do want to upgrade the stock intercooler however I’m not sure if the BMS or the mishimoto intercooler fit the g80 sport. Can anyone confirm? They give you control of the wastegates and they allow you to fine tune boost up or down at individual rpms. Just remember that using EWG settings means whatever mode you are in is now actually a "custom mode". Applying the EWG settings to Map 2 can cause ignition to be pulled if you don't have everything else setup to handle it.
Yup that’s a great idea. I’ll log map3 without it first. The EWG wires will increase your boost. If you are worried about ignition retarding with map 3 then try it without the wires first. Apparently no. I live in CA. Kinda don’t want to install and uninstall when smog comes. I know it is still in 8 years for the first smog lol.Get those EWG installed they make some difference! You going to add cpi or wmi?
Kick down your goodI was reviewing my map 2 pull from earlier and they’re was a reading of 5.3 right before I floored the throttle. Is that normal? After that it was 0.8 across the board.
Okay just making sure. So it is normal to see this reading moments before going WOT?Kick down your good
That's what you want!!! good looking log. Now, you can use that as a baseline for attempting a higher map. Remember, after map 2, octane is VERY critical!!!!! Can't emphasize enough. If you can't get the octane number up, leave it at map 2 and maybe work on suspension, tires, etc. and you will see night and day difference in how the Stinger performs on a daily basis.I did a quick map 2 pull this morning and it’s looking good.
