That would be one epic trip..
The Trip A & B computers only go up to 9999.9 miles and then stay there...![]()
Yes, that's why it has "RES+" marked on the button. "Resume" or increase (+).. The other one is "SET-" - to set a cruise speed, or decrease (-).. Every vehicle I've owned or driven in the last 30 years was that way.
Holy crap! You upstaged me, you scoundrel. What are the chances!? Well, here's my discovery pic, taken just today on the road. The Trip A & B computers only go up to 9999.9 miles and then stay there...
Swear my Optima Trip mileage went to 5 digits but can’t remember for sure.

You're smart mate! You know everything. You're the coolest!
Sorry mate no GT2 in Canada. We have the Limited, which has goodies the US GT2 doesn't.Not here it doesn’t, they are the GT rims and only available stock in staggered 19’s. The 330S and 330Si come as stock 18’s and have a completely different pattern on the rims.
I have no idea why they called them GT, GT1, & GT2 in US & Canada, it’s too bloody confusing.
So to summarise the GT in Australia is what you Yanks and Canucks would call GT2 and it only comes in 19’s
Not sure about those in "America" but our Stingers in Canada have neither a boot nor a truck. Ours are actually equipped with a hatch. So here in Canada us Canadians can be seen "popping the hatch" to retrieve our stuff in the back. Depending on the time of year you will notice the Canadain male most likely will pull out a set of golf clubs or a large rectangular shaped canvas bag containing hockey equipment and a couple "hockey sticks". Yes we are a strange bunch here, particularly on the Wet Coast. So I just discovered this morning that once the boot (trunk for those in America) is open if you hold down the boot release button on the key fob it will close it for you too. I’ve always just used the button inside the boot to auto close but pushed the key fob this morning just to see what happened and found another interesting discovery. Sorry if it’s already been mentioned in the other 880 posts before this one.
I resemble that comment !Not sure about those in "America" but our Stingers in Canada have neither a boot nor a truck. Ours are actually equipped with a hatch. Thanks for that, I thought it was my old eyes playing tricks on me...lol.Not sure if this has ever previuosly discussed.... Heads up display speed changes to italic/slant font in Sport mode. I just noticed this yesterday. Kind of odd, and unnecessary.
Today I learned that for the parking sensors to go off when you're pulling in the button light needs to be on. For the longest time I just thought they would only turn on after backing up. Hate how inconsistent the buttons are. (like how idle stop and go is OFF when the light is on.
Yeah, I discovered this through experimentation. But it took me longer to realize that a light "On" does not necessarily mean that the function is on.Today I learned that for the parking sensors to go off when you're pulling in the button light needs to be on.
