Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

I'm jealous of how the license plate matches the car.

Spotted another Ceramic Silver, northbound on Redwood Rd, at c. 12:25 pm. It passed my nose as I was waiting to turn left onto Redwood. I put on some speed and just barely caught it as it turned left. The efforts I go to, to document. :P (This was the first time that I was thinking, Here I am sitting at this left turn, and I ought to get my camera ready in case a Stinger comes along: I didn't "answer the call", and it came along right after thinking that. )

Looks like you just caught it on the camera. Fuzzy and in the distance. Reminds me of those photos of the abominable snowman.

Careful the "sledge"might be watching.

Hard to tell from the pic because when you zoom the badge gets a bit blurred but I’m thinking it’s a 2.0 GT Line. If it’s the GT he’s taking a risk. The 3.3L TT version of the Stinger is on the banned vehicles list for P1 and P2 licence holders in NSW. Only the 2.0L is legally able to be driven by them.

I recall a P plater went on a run with us so I'm thinking the same one. 2.lt GT Line.

Oddly enough in the first ten miles of ownership (yesterday) crossed paths with a black Stinger on MD State RD 97 just north of the Route 26 overpass around 3:15 PM .
Hey owner are you here?

What's the P for? Provisional?

'Straya has this nanny state provision to protect the public from "unworthy" (inexperienced) drivers: until you have so many kilometers under your belt, you have to display this "P" tag, to show cops that the car you're driving isn't too powerful for your tyro status. Risky business, to display a "P" (1?) tag on a 3.3L engine vehicle. A bit analogous to a private pilot licensee for single-engine-fixed-landing-gear taking off in a super charged twin-engine Beech: but without the justification, IMHO! Just be grateful we don't have to put up with that level of interference in the US.

The most over governed, red taped, Nanny state bit of turf in the werelllllld:D. Down here.

Red P plate first year, Green P second year. Zero alcohol and no points with engine restrictions on what you can drive. No V8s and No turbos.

I'm thinking it must be a 2.0. Because Pathera grey was not available here 3.3?

Is that the Canberra run? The only P plate I remember from the Hunter run was a Rafa edition.
Not Canberra but I was thinking maybe South Coast/Kiama.

Saw 2 today, a black one and a red. The red one had had a gigantic wing on the back! Like fast and furious type wing!
