Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Waterloo rd Macquarie Park 4.15pm ceramic grey Maybe a Gt? CV----.

Spotted a Snow White Pearl turn out of the local KFC Drive Thru, I am sure this Stinger is the same one I have seen about 5 times now.

Today I was a local shopping centre, I wasn't driving my Stinger and I didn't see a Stinger today, I drove my 2004 VZ Commodore, which I still park in the same spots up the back of the car park, anyway, I'm sitting in the Cafe which has windows facing where I'm parked, and I notice a red Mustang parked next to me, not leaving a car park in between, but the park right next to me, It still annoyed me somewhat, but I guess if there was a passenger in the front seat, they would of opened the door carefully ?

5:15pm today came across a micro blue GT Line heading south on the M1 Pacific Motorway at Tuggerah. It had the large Stinger script in place of the Kia badge on the boot, but it still had the smaller original Stinger script on the boot as well which just looked stupid. Also it was being driven by some old woman who thought that it was ok to sit on 95 in lane 2 of 3 in the 110 zone. Apparently like a lot of others who use that road she couldn’t grasp the concept of keep left unless overtaking.

Didn’t even glance in my direction when I came up next to her, so I pulled in front to show them what rebadging should look like then took off because 95/110 is just annoying. I know it’s missing a turbo but it’s more than capable of doing the speed limit. Her Stinger licence should be revoked.

Rollover semi accident gridlocked O'Hare airport last night for over 6 hours. Anyway, we saw a white Stinger stuck in the mix.

She should cop double Stinger demerit points,
1. She didn't take off the second Stinger script and it makes her rebadging a disgrace to fellow Stinger Owners
2. She is not driving in a manner befitting of an Stinger
3.She is in the wrong lane....move over lady into the Snail lane ( jeez, the Stinger doesn't belong there either ) she needs to get herself a baseline Picanto.
4.She didn't acknowledge a fellow Stinger owner, no community spirit.

Firstly, what is an old woman doing driving any kind of Stinger like an old woman...:rofl:, I agree that having the large Stinger script in place of the Kia badge looks nice, but not with the small badge still there also from the factory, too much Stinger going on..:), but then again, like I said earlier , what's an old woman like that driving a Stinger , and at those slow speeds, but why would she also at that age re-badge, the other thing is she did not acknowledge another Stinger driver in anyway, a wave, a thumbs up, she didn't even turn her head , not even a smile nothing, the only way I would over look this traffic infringement, and let her off with a warning, is if she was a much younger attractive woman, then I would really try to get her attention ....:):rofl::laugh::rofl:

Maybe she was trying to be attractive by association?:D

o_O

I'll bet the Stinger belongs to her husband who took her 20-year-old minivan with low horsepower and no modern features for the day because he didn't want to mess up his precious while taking their mastiff to the animal hospital, and she got stuck driving a car she'd never driven before with features her husband hadn't bothered to show her how to use, and she was already embarrassed about that stupid "Stinger Stinger" on the butt end, and the car kept beeping at her for reasons she couldn't figure out, plus her husband probably left it in sport mode (never telling her there were any other modes), so to her it felt like it was going 200 kmh, and none of the people speeding in the slow lane would slow down to let her move over, and then some nut in another Stinger started waving at her and then he cut her off, and she didn't want to make eye contact because she was thinking "Oh, my god, someone's trying to pull a crash for cash scam on me," and . . . Wait, no, her stupid husband would never let her drive his baby, so forget all that.

Maybe she was trying to be attractive by association?:D
Hey, watch it, I resemble that remark!

It is the same old theory. Once you buy a new car you seem to see them everywhere. However this car is breaking that tradition. Other than my dealership here in town I have only seen two in the wild in the last month or so. Red GT1 and a Blue base level.

Yea, I haven't seen one in a couple months now. Also that way so far with out Telluride...haven't seen another one of those in a couple months also.

In Seoul this week. Lots of Stingers here compared to NC. Not exactly sure what models... GT, Base...? I wonder if there is anything interesting Kia / Stinger to do or buy here, don’t have much free time and can’t put an exhaust system in the carry on : ).

Passed a Ceramic Silver heading into Lowes in Apex yesterday. I have still seen more Tellurides in person than Stingers but SUV's are all the rage these days.

Also had a guy in the drive through to Bojangles ask me if it was an expensive car and was pretty perplexed a Kia could look so good.

Are Stingers very popular in their country of origin ?

@Flameangel I think I read somewhere on the forum that G70/G80 are more popular than the Stinger.
Makes sense. Koreans love showing off their money (or lack thereof).

Blue Stinger passed me on I-29 (south bound), somewhere north of Kansas City on Friday 18th. Drivers of both Stringers acknowledged each other :)

I created an automotive creamsicle. So, if anyone wants a 2020 orange there might be one at Kia in Renton.

Until I see a Fed Orange "in the flesh", I will not really know if I like it enough to covet one: I don't care much for that shade of orange in your pic, and I know it's just a trick of the camera and the situation: so much variation in all these pics that I don't even know what "Federation Orange" looks like until I see one. The lights at SEMA where the pics of the show car were taken make it look everything from "creamsicle" to burnt orange, but the over all effect is really attractive. Outside, on a cloudy day like here, not so much. Not "burnt" enough. :P:unsure:

Well the orange does look different in different lighting. For example I have pics of mine when it was on the showroom floor and it looks like a light orange. Then I have a pic of mine outside on the same day and it looks considerably darker.
