A ceramic grey, silky silver, and sunset yellow all within about 5-10 minutes in Gosford on Tuesday morning.
A deep chroma blue Tuesday afternoon in Newcastle.
A micro blue in Koolewong yesterday.
A ceramic grey in Gosford, tonight on the way home, along with a high chroma red at Ourimbah, and a snow while pearl 2021 model at Warnervale which I think is the same one I saw last week almost in the same spot.
Exactly! Anyone with anything other than a tractor or hay wagon pickup FLYS on that road... it's usually just you and the coyotes and ground squirrels anyway. 146 is the fastest this car... or I... have ever been- putting on sway bars in a couple weeks, see if it takes some of the high speed float feeling out.
I had OE sways at the time. The high speed "experiment" impressed me a lot: those humps on 95 didn't bother the Stinger at all: the faster she went the more hunkered down she felt: the design is very aerodynamically solid.
With time to burn this afternoon, I went out to do a Hot Wheels HCR hunt; decided Walmart first, then Smith and Edwards. Lo and behold, the very color I sought pulled in, in 1/1 "scale", and I got a couple of pics of it on my way inside. As I rifled through the third hanger, two or three back from the front, lo and behold, the very color (and the only Hot Wheels Stinger I had run across in any store till now). Feeling blessed, I found the real HCR in the parking lot and laid my acquisition on it for pics together. (At Smith and Edwards a few minutes later, I found a Blue Stinger, which I already have, but no HCR; I put the Blue back on a hanger in front, to help some potential Stinger owner find it easily.)
The mother and child in the HCR parked abominably: probably the dad loves this car; enough to rebadge it and keep it clean (and put a "Turbo" script over the GT on the hatch lid).

Merged onto I-64 from I-270 right behind an HCR around 1:17 this afternoon. Starting to see more and more. Hopefully Kia is getting enough sales to keep cranking out Stingers but not enough so that you see them everywhere you go.
Springtime and the Stingers are out! - Spotted 2 today... a Ghost Grey (Ceramic Silver) with M&S (or maybe Maxton) rear diffuser, and a Black or Thunder Grey (Panthera Metal)
On the way to Import Alliance, my friend took some amazing rolling shots. So while I did not see any in the wild during the 10 hour drive (crazy huh?), I was seen. This is my fav.

Yup it was this past weekend in Bowling Green. Was a ton of fun, wish you could have joined. We spent Thursday night in TN at Opryland/Gaylord, then drove to IA on Friday.
There were only 4 Stingers representing. I hoped there would have been more.

I'm honestly surprised there are so many Optima enthusiasts. And I say that as someone who's keeping his 2012 SX all 10 years of it's warranty. Nice cars!
