Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Not sure if it was anyone on here or not, but I was on the 412 heading east out of Tulsa Monday the 8th at about 12:30PM ( for work) and saw a Pearl White GT heading west towards Tulsa. It was way cleaner than most of the cars I saw all week while we there. Sorry no pix - both going 70+ MPH and opposite directions.

Micro Blue this afternoon; I was eastbound on 9800 South at c. 2200 West, and it was heading west.

Okay, not Stinger sightings, but a comparison: yesterday, down here at Springdale outside of Zion National Park, I saw a K5 in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn Express (that dark grey color). We drove into the park and I saw two more K5s in grey, another dark one and a mid-tone grey: three K5s inside an hour! The car hasn't even been selling for half a year yet. It took me nearly six months to make my first Stinger in the wild sighting. I think that the K5 is a hit. Good for Kia!
Rental cars? It replaces the Optima in their lineup, so I would imagine that means they're going to be available to rental agencies. Betting this in part because you saw them at a national park, where many (most?) of the cars will be rentals.

I've been seeing a couple Stingers regularly lately, probably commuters like me. I wonder if they're members here, might be more likely to determine who's who in the Facebook group.

That makes sense, I hadn't thought "rental" at all. :D

I just returned from "my" dealership (where I got the HECU TSB done and an oil change and multi-point inspection). I saw over a dozen brand new 2022 Stingers (including this singular Ascot Green). But only two K5s. I bet they are selling off the K5s a lot faster than those Stingers. :)

For most people the K5 is plenty of car. That's one reason the Stinger is likely a tough sale for the typical Kia car shopper.

Any discounts on the new Stingers yet? :D

I wouldn't know, since I don't pretend to be shopping for a replacement. :)
Oh c'mon now, you like a good train wreck as well as the rest of us!

Saw a black GT this morning on the side of the freeway. (270 South on Columbus' west side) The whole right side of the car had been wrecked by a semi truck that appeared to have tried to occupy the same lane at the same time as the Stinger. No injuries to humans, thankfully.

Almost a week ago... heading down Hwy 78 cruising behind an F-150 a bit quickly.... came up on a Harney County sheriff that had some unlucky phucker pulled over. I'm south of Burns... heading further south... this road eventually takes you to Nevada. There are "never" cops on this road... but this one nabbed a Panthera Stinger that I just glimpsed as I went by at a reduced 72 mph. Sooooo sorry to you if you are on here. I wanted to turn around and offer a ride to the officer... pretty sure it was Lucas Maclain. Let him try to keep it legal on this wide open road. Seriously tho bro.... (or bro-ette)... the local cops never patrol that road.... nothing but farmers out that way... cruise control set at 45 (on a posted 65)- so no reason to bore themselves. Anyway. Second wild sighting.

A ceramic grey, silky silver, and sunset yellow all within about 5-10 minutes in Gosford on Tuesday morning.

A deep chroma blue Tuesday afternoon in Newcastle.

A micro blue in Koolewong yesterday.

A ceramic grey in Gosford, tonight on the way home, along with a high chroma red at Ourimbah, and a snow while pearl 2021 model at Warnervale which I think is the same one I saw last week almost in the same spot.

Hey! That's MY playground. :D Where 78 approaches the "T" intersection with 95, I noticed, finally, that I had the highway to myself, literally, and I started to experiment: stopped in the middle of the road and did some fast accelerations and tried launch control a few times; got it up to well over 100: then here came that "T", holy crap! Slammed on the brakes, hard, and slid to an almost stop at the stop sign, then continued onto 95 heading toward NV. That was when the real fun began. Tried a few more fast launches, taking the speed up into the 140s a couple of times. Then I decided I wanted to test SPEED, and took it up to 155 before finally backing off and just letting it coast back down to 70-something. All this time I saw nobody. You know how you can see literally for miles ahead on those arrow-straight parts of 95. :D I passed a sign that said, "Slow down, prepare to stop". I laughed out loud. And sure enough, up ahead was a stop sign holder. He kept one car ahead of me and one that pulled in behind me for over five minutes: then the traffic started to come through heading north, behind a guide truck with flashing lights on top: apparently some road work up ahead had held back the traffic: which created my "playground" (NAV "knew" this, and steered me off the I-5 much earlier and routed me down through central Oregon so I could have fun. Hah).

At 1:06 this afternoon a White Pearl crossed in front of me, headed east on 104th South; I was facing south on the Bungler Hwy waiting to turn left.

Exactly! Anyone with anything other than a tractor or hay wagon pickup FLYS on that road... it's usually just you and the coyotes and ground squirrels anyway. 146 is the fastest this car... or I... have ever been- putting on sway bars in a couple weeks, see if it takes some of the high speed float feeling out.
