On MUFFLER plates; What material did you use? And link?
Can I ask what tool you used to trim the diffuser openings? I was thinking of marking a consistent offset with a compass, then using a Dremel cutoff wheel, and cleaning it up with some sanding.
I have the oval Akrapovic tips, but the exhaust isn't perfectly aligned so it rubs just a bit. I have a few random rattles now and then, wondering if this would help eliminate them.
I used a $50 plastic dremel, mainly have to trim the top of the diffuser for the two inner tips, the others were shoved in. No rattles.

I’m looking to buy those exact style tips except oval due to community reviews. Did you by any chance drive with the CBE with stock to know the difference these tips made to drone/cabin noise
These look nice, but given the price and lack of info around sizing and fitment its too much of a risk to order and just hope they work.Found some of these tips here that I like. Unfortunately there is only one picture and there is no description on the size of these tips. I have a Borla catback and I can't see if these only fit stock or not.

Bump anybody know the diameter of the oem exhaust outlet? Without the tip. 2" or 2.5"? Thanks
ok, read through 29 pages of this thread and everybody is talking about removing or loosening the exhaust to get to the tips. wouldn't it be easier to just remove the rear bumper to access the tips, since you do have to Dremel the hole slightly, that way you can add the tips without loosening the exhaust or am I not getting the reason for the exhaust to be touched.
