Could someone give me an overview of what SXTH ek1 setup has to offer? I read through about 20 pages and never gained a clear understanding on some points.
I have a 2021 GT2 awd that is my daily. Not looking for crazy performance that diminishes daily driveability.
It will get some basic
mods - plugs, cai, catback, oil catchcan.
I was originally going to buy a JB4 (run 93 or E30) and a lozic TCU tune.
Does the EK1 pro basically replace everything the JB4 does now (with logging/data anyway; I know maps can't be changed on the fly like JB4)?
With the EK1 lite/pro I can use my oem ecu/tcu; correct?
If ecu/tcu flashed back to the original file will there be any digital trail for warranty work to be refused at a dealership?
When flashing the ecu/tcu files are there risks associated should those not flash correctly (like can the ecu/tcu be bricked essentially)?
Are the flashes made to the ecu/tcu set to just sport mode on the vehicle (I assume they are customizable anyway you want)?
Thoughts as a whole for a daily driver - JB4+TCU tune vs EK1 ECU/TCU tunes?
