Isn't the stinger close to that weight?A Yukon is a boat that has been made into a car at 5.6k lbs. its GMCs top "big ego suv"
"Age of the Grille" continues (with a vengeance
Is it a 6-7 seater ?I’ve driven one of these monsters for 800 miles at a time and the best I can describe it, is as a land yacht. Most anything you hit with it at high speed won’t stand a chance unless it is very well put together.
Wow, that's a Yukon ! I'd need a ladder to get into that thing, you guys have such big ass cars over there.
I Think I did years ago, is that the reality film where the guy basically survives eating Macca’s or am I thinking of something else?We are the land of huge things. Did you ever watch the movie Super Size Me?
They’re usually 7 or 8 passenger. We did an 800 mile one way, so 1600 mile round trip from a Friday night to a Sunday for a wedding in November. We only had 7 plus all the luggage. That beast would cruise/float at 80mph no problem but going around curves made us feel like we were going to tip over.Is it a 6-7 seater ?
We are indeed. I just wonder what would happen to people’s outlooks if the price of gas were to say, double, or worse. It will happen eventually. We are the land of huge things. Did you ever watch the movie Super Size Me?
It already did. Gas jumped from two dollars a gallon to over four dollars almost 5 dollars. People lost their jobs, I watched as a lot of trucks ended up off of the road and more people drove small cars. Now that the economy has somewhat stabilized, People are back into crossovers and SUVs and big trucks again. You’re right, it will happen again, and people will be clamoring for small cars again. We are indeed. My son-in-law just bought a 2009 Impreza for commuting to work, since he can get 30mpg vs 13 in his Tundra. Was spending nearly $300 per month on gas and that’s at today’s low prices. It already did. Over here there are either Small cars or SUV's mostly, then a small percentage of Sedans etc . Some of the SUV's and 4WD are large like the Holden Colorado or Ford Raptor but not as huge as some of your cars. I did see someone in a Huge US car, don't know what it was but it took up two car parks, was wide, looked like the flanks had been injected with Roids. It already did. Yep, that would be right, we are possibly the highest taxed country in the worldOur petrol is probably double what it could be, I'm lead to believe we have 3 taxes applied to it.
