It looks like our tracking email landed in your junk mail folder. It's being delivered by Federal Express on Monday. I'm direct message you with the tracking number...

No need to thank me. I learn a lot here too.

The news would have made it here anyways, but as soon as I saw the first appearance of this device on korean sites I thought that you guys would love it so I rushed here to share the good news! (hence the title ... :D)

I remember that some member posted (a while ago) about how it would be gread if we could find a way to tune into the electronic suspension system. But not only this is possible now, but the fact that it is made by the same company that manufactures our stock suspensions, I thought "wow this is too good to be true".:geek::geek::geek:
Haha probably me, I've made lots of rants in various threads Including my write up regarding the eibach spring and sway bars. I'm just catching up on the thread now, trying to sort through everything. Is there a specific link for ordering or just find it on eBay, is there a kit or part number ? Seems like there is a consensus that there is separate tuning of "ride" and "handling" and I'm going to guess that this is a separate change between bump and rebound adjustments respectively.

I believe Sal's store now has it.. Probably the easiest way to order - just click the link at the top of the page..

Can this module be controlled via the mode selector? As in, can I program it so that when I choose Sport mode with the car's dial, the suspension is stiffer than standard Sport mode? Or do you need to make all changes via the app?

It's more like you program sport mode and you have comfort sport and sport plus.

It’s an add on Module you control from an App, on an Android or Apple device. Have you read the info on the module at the start of this thread? This has been discussed and answered in this thread.

Yes I have, but I assume that eventually the functionality will be added to the mode selector, and when that happens, that's when I'll buy one of these. Just trying to get info without reading 10+ pages.

This is an add-on module, there can't be any control over it via the cars existing mode selector.

KIA tunes the car to the way they felt it best fit, what they were going for in the way the vehicle rides and handles. Some of us want a different feel and took varying routes to get there. First option was sway bars, suspension change with springs only as an option, coil overs as another and now we have a way to adjust the adaptive suspension. Bear in mind, none of these options were offered by KIA, although Mando, the folks that designed the suspension, is making the unit available as an aftermarket option.

That being said, the unit was not designed to replace KIA’s system however, it’s intended use is as as add on option, while the still allowing the function of the built in system. If KIA decides to update the system, that will most likely occur on a future version of the car. Are they likely to offer changes on older Stingers? That, we can’t answer with any certainty. However, based on past experience, they probably won’t. This is how manufacturers tend to operate, this is why the aftermarket exists.

it will be very cold in hell on the day you buy one then. Bring a jacket. (You might see an opera singing woman at the same time... don’t be alarmed).

So random question: has anyone tried setting up this module successfully for the Canadian GT (non-limited) model? The brochure said the gt-line, gt and gt limited all have electronic stability control, but just want to make sure it's not something weird like two versions of electronic suspension or something.

I tried searching for a post in this thread about it, but haven't found much luck.

It will work if you have electronic suspension.

Electronic stability control is very different than Dynamic Stability Damping Control (DSDC) supsension

Ah k, thanks. Just looked through the brochures, and looks like it was only added to the Canadian GT trim from 2019 onwards.
