Check this out!!! (ECS control module)

On Hwy OR 95 at speed I felt none of this. The car simply negotiated each "hump" in a single movement; like something pushing up from beneath and letting go: the car rose and dropped without subsequent "cycles" of movement. Again, had the Stinger done what you describe here, I'd have backed off and never pushed it that fast.

If your car is like mine you will notice the difference in ride pretty easily. Not nearly as busy on the Freeway.

You're talking with the Mando module, right? I haven't sprung for this yet: my main incentive to NOT get one is the amount of fiddling I know I'll do, if I do! :P:rolleyes: I actually don't want that much added option. If I had noticed "bounce/float" like some have criticized, and body roll, and sidestep in cornering (I do notice that, but it is less with an Eibach sway bar in back; and besides, I just take that movement in stride, anticipate it and drive "spiritedly" accordingly: it doesn't bother me), to the extent that any of that bothered me, I'd be leaping on this module yesterday too.

yes the Mando

^^^To be fair though (well, unfair depending how you look at it), C&D tested the GT, which doesn't have adjustable suspension.

Anyone in Canada interested , I am ordering tpms from a Korean seller and is offering ECS as well, I will order next week, let me know

Hi Gtecko,

Can you tell me which Korean seller you bought the sensors from?

Thanks

I used one of the two the accessory, its labeled on the back of the fuse panel.

Just installed mine tonight. Took me probably ~1 hr. First time I'd really done anything on the Stinger, had to figure everything out, etc. My fuse box label ('19 gt1 awd) was different from some others I've seen - I had no "accessory" designation. I had a few labeled "module", and one 20 amp labeled "spare", which I ended up using. There was a bare socket, but it was live all the time, which wasn't what I wanted.

Installed, powered it up, verified I could connect and set the setting to "ECS Sport" (the predefined sport). All I had time for today. Not sure I want to take it out for a spin in the dark - lots of construction around here right now.

Ok - What am I missing? I can bring up the app, select Stinger, apply Comfort or Sport. THAT'S IT. How does one get the custom option? I've tried swiping up, down, left, right, pinching, zooming, 2-finger swipe, quintuple click, etc.

And does everyone else need to "enable module" every time you bring up the app? Or did I mess something up and connect it to a flaky fuse box tap? Should the green LED be solid or flashing?

Edit: Using a Samsung Galaxy S7, pretty much latest updates. Just downloaded v1.03 of the app from the playstore.

Edit 2: Apparently some of my resolution / font size settings were messing it up. Switched resolution and to tiny fonts, and now I can scroll, etc..

they stated it’s the same between markets. Can anybody post a picture of their box’s retail packaging?

nevermind, works just fine.
Great results, I feel like my car doesn’t rattle as much as the ride is smoother in comfort.
Happy with it

EDIT - for those who have this, do you have to keep connecting each time you cycle the ignition?

Not unless you want to change the box settings

The unit remembers the last setting from the Mando unit, if you have no plans on changing the setting, then you don't need to. If you want to make adjustments/changes to the settings, then you will need to connect it, each time.

Hey guys,
Sorry if this has been covered in prior posts???

I just ordered the Mando controller... question is, does it have to be connected via fuse panel with "add a fuse" ... to maintain the settings that you have made after connection to BT?

Yes, scroll back a few pages and you will see the one that works listed.

No it can be on acessory power and you can posi tap into a power wire or do the add a fuse. (Also earlier in this thread) Posi tap is easier and more stealth. I mounted the unit in the steering column so no signs of it.
