Wow! You reused that plug? Your asking for issues with a crack like that.....

Yeah i know its risky, but so far so good, i mainky wanted to c if it was indeed the gap that was cuasing issues or something else, and it seems as though it was the gap, since even with a cracked plug it still ran smoother than it did before, hopefully everyone has read my post and doesnt try this, just experimenting a bit lol

Jist a quick update for everone, since i gapped my stock plugs to.025, (even with one cracked) i have put 200mi. in with no issues. That being said, if you haven't done it, i would advise to gap your plugs asap while using the jb unit. All this with 91octane and map1. I plan on using map2 onc3 i actually replace my cracked plug, or probably all of them just in case.

Well, looks like I am not gonna even attempt that lol. But how do you even regap the stock plugs?

There's a ground electrode and a center electrode. To gap the plugs you just have to move the ground electrode closer to or further from the center electrode. I used a pair of small pliers. To measure the gap you have to use a feeler gauge or similar tool.

5FC1BD36-9065-425A-9941-76D1279A65AE.webp Well as most of you know I have the JB4 running Map2, HKS plugs, and intakes...... took the car on a little road trip today cause it’s beautiful outside. Went on about a 100 mile trip, and about half way “uh oh” check engine light came on. Ran it pretty hard a few times no issues and ran like a champ. Got to where we were going had dinner and left. Raced a Subaru “and won” up the two lane on ramp with no issue. Got about 2 miles down the road driving normal and the light came on. Didn’t run weird or anything even with the light on. Stopped at the local Orielly store to read the code. Computer screen just said that the was a problem detected but wouldn’t tell me what it was. Here’s a picture of what it said. Anyone know what might cause this or heard of it on any other Stingers?

No idea man. All the connections from the JB4 to engine sensors tight and secure?

Well.. The map sensor is reading too low or too high. I'd clear and see if it comes back. Else you'd need a scanner that can read the PID and see what voltage it's putting out.

I cleared and haven’t had many miles on it since. Hasn’t came back on yet though.
