Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

This comparison is against the 300hp Silver Sport Q50 and focuses more on trunk room, material quality, etc.

I am still interested in what falls into "everything" besides the RS400.

The Q50 used to be able to beat the stinger by a bumper up to 100mph (probably any speed) but it didn't really pull on me, but I put a stage 1 on the Q50 and jb4 map 1 on my stinger and now the stinger can get it by a bumper, but it probably wouldn't pull on the Q50. They're pretty equal.

As for handling, I would give the edge to the stinger, but it may just be the tires because I have the summer tires while he has all seasons, the stinger is definitely more comfortable in normal driving though.

Stage 1 Q50's run low 12's in the 1/4 mile trapping at 115+ mph. The JB4 Map1 Stinger is faster than that? Very interesting. I have yet to see any track times for the "piggybacked" Stingers.

Hmmm what I'm trying to say is that every trim under the RS400 (i.e. the 3.0 and less) would be outclassed by the Stinger in most metrics as explained by the video.

The RS400 will win in a straight line given the same parameters.

Not sure what else I can say.

Update: The parts are backordered until April the 23rd... That sucks.

@TorkMe posted a video in the last week with a piggybacked Stinger doing 12.5 sec and he’s doing more to get it lower.

Please don't forget to start NEW THREADS for JB4 reviews. It's important to have this information easy to find in the tuning forum - and it's not easy to find going through 20 pages of posts in this single discussion...

I’m running map2 now. Haven’t run it to long at high boost but it runs pretty smooth without any noticeable issues. I do have the HKS plugs gapped to .024 though.
Much of a noticeable difference between the two maps?

I'll wait to hear from someone who has tried both on the stinger.
i would not expect any less. i didn't say it would be a big difference. i said it should be a big difference. i'm just sharing my experience for those who are unfamiliar with how piggyback tune maps work.

Map 2 Works perfectly fine on 93 octane with stock plugs gapped at .28
