Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

I think the main reason why I can't pull the trigger on any tune is the small issues I keep hearing about. It just seems like it's not really worth all the hassle and the thought that something can go wrong or hiccups can happen

If you're not interested in hearing about problems & their resolutions I'd suggest you stop hanging out in the problem support threads. :)

My cars been feeling super sluggish these past couple of days. So I logged it and paid attention to my boost. Looked like the little boost bar didnt even move. I didnt put the pedal all the way down. But usually at this level I get a lot more boost. Any suggestions?

Pedal input is around 30%, JB4 is off here. I wouldn't expect much boost at such a low pedal input. You can always compare boost and ECU_PSI. If they are the same the JB4 is just along for the ride.

If you want more response at this pedal input beyond what sport mode offers, grab one of our pedal tuners and set it to Stage3!

Fair enough, however I am 99% sold on your product. I'm hoping when I do buy it, I don't have to post up here. But if I do, I know and I've seen the level of support you provide. That is why I'm 99% sold on it. I'm nervous I'll have an issue, but I know you'll work through the issues until it's perfect.

It's all pretty straight forward easy stuff and the JB4 Kia community is HUGE. In the unlikely event you ever need any assistance we'll all be here for you. :)

Bingo! Honestly, the amount of people running your setups is pretty much a confirmation that my doubts are unnecessary.

I think Terry could sell Ice to Eskimo's his customer's service here is outstanding and I'm sure this Stinger forum is not the only place he seems to respond within minutes of someone asking for a log review. He's not human I don't know how he has time for it all. I do hope to add this as soon as I have the funds to buy it the intake and the plugs and pay someone to install it all for me.

I suspect human cloning is involved.

I do what I can but sometimes I'm out doing R&D... Fortunately we also have Ando, Jeff, Payam, and Jon at the office to help out on the support end. :)

The level of commitment you demonstrate to standing by your product...and the time it takes to do that day in and day out...is unheard of.

And I'm not saying that because I want free stuff. But I do want free stuff.

@Terry@BMS forgive the ignorant question:

Is there a way to use the JB4 for a completely custom map6 to utilize mods/fuel/meth to the fullest extent? Or do you have "suggested" settings to try? Would be interesting to see if I could have a *kill* map to make the most out of the cars current capabilities.

Hi All, if you wouldn't mind reviewing these. Lovin' so far, just appreciate the input!!

This on 93? Looks like it would benefit with more octane. I'd keep it on map2 on this fuel.

Can you please look over these logs. I've posted them a couple times and emailed you. 93 octane map1.

Looks fine to me.. Normally I'd only need to look at logs if there was a problem or you're trying to push a lot of power on sketchy fuel, etc. This is just map1. :)

Thanks. @Terry@BMS I understand. I wanted to make sure the jerky feeling was the boost oscillations like I had read about on the forum. Other than that I'm loving it. Been running map 2 for a few days now.

My car just suddenly lost the ability to build boost even when the JB4 was set to map 0. No CEL and the JB4 code reader did not find anything. After restarting the car the issue was gone. Is this happening to anyone else? i read that this was an issue on older firmware but im on V9.

When it happened it was running map3 in comfort mode, FUD7 on. did a pull in 2nd then after that no boost. no other mods doen to my car except denso plugs.

attached is a log is took when i was unable to build boost in case it shows anything weird
