Will do, just to satisfy my paranoia lol do you mean it looks good or tolerable? Lol
So any ideas as to why only a few of us seem to be getting the boost oscillations? It doesn't make any sense to me why I would be experiencing them all the time, yet other people with the same mods don't ever have this problem!?
To be honest, it is making it really hard for me to enjoy the JB4 and I'm starting to regret the purchase. I've tried running every firmware version, and every map and I'm currently only running version 5, map 1 because this seems to make the oscillations far less pronounced, but it means I am missing out on the new features added in the later firmware updates.
I understand that the oscillations are doing no harm, but they feel and sound shit, and every single person that comes in my car ask me what's wrong with it. So it's disappointing![]()
Email sent. CheersJust email in and have them forward it to me.
Unfortunately my friend feels the same way too.So any ideas as to why only a few of us seem to be getting the boost oscillations? It doesn't make any sense to me why I would be experiencing them all the time, yet other people with the same mods don't ever have this problem!?

Curious if you think the few people with boost oscillations would benefit from being able to log this. I thought the going theory was there may be some different mechanical adjustment of their wg. Logging duty cycle could shed further light on this no?
@Terry@BMS help! I’m getting some sort of weird hesitation up top. Tried map3 and map 2 did it today also. 3rd and 4th gear. I have plugs gapped at 24 btw. Thank you.
So all is well? Could forgetting to turn off the traction/esc control be part of the culprit? Any knock? No indication in the log, the usual stumbling at higher boost levels suspect, fuel pressure, is on target.

Ok, it is consistent. Just did more testing. I’ll start with pulling plugs. Maybe it’s a bad tank of fuel. But then again we’re not running a crazy amount of boost.. can you see pre ignition on the jb4 logs? Here is the latest log. Top of the rpm in the gears mainly the last gear.Yes seems so. Boost, timing, and AFR OK.... Maybe a damaged plug if it's consistent?

Sorry wasn’t talking about the FUD 7 “linear throttle mapping” setting as that does help slightly. We were thinking the other v6 update “less throttle closer during shifts” may be a factor. Could that adjustment to throttle closure relate to, or effect WGDC control? There is already a FUD sitting to revert to the v4 and earlier throttle mapping. So if that isn't doing it, must be something else. You can always load and log previous firmware same car, same day, vs the newer firmware, so we can see if anything stands out. As we're not able to recreate anything like that on our development car when you email in those logs be sure to also note the modifications on the vehicle.
