Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

I know you are right I just need to do it. Been afraid lol So it should take me what, 20 minutes to install the whole jb4?
To piggyback off the information make sure you buy some belcro 3M tape to tape the JB4 so you can easily remove it and put back on location ....it’s cleaner than 2 sided tape .... I also used 1/2 inch wiring cover/sheath I bought on amazon for like 8 bucks to make the harness look a lot cleaner and provide additional protection ....

The JB4 doesnt come with wiring cover/sheath?

It does ... but what I am talking about makes look a lot cleaner ..... when I get home I will take pictures so you know exactly what I am talking about and provide links of what I bought and used off amazon .... I don’t want to confuse you lol ... this is completely optional it just looks a lot better and provides additional protection ...

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I think the hardest part for me what to get the jb to close again after adding the Bluetooth and fuel wires but after that it’s easy.
Agree lol you just have to be patient and gentle ... I really took my time routing the harness to make it look clean and as factory as possible ... I will provide pics after work ....

At the most... it will take you a little longer to get the fuel wires installed into the harness and all that, but that is a one time deal.
IMO the longest steps are taking the ECU out and making sure the wires are to your liking? I have wrapped my wires so it keeps the engine bay clean and free of just scattered wires.

JB4 harness looks like this. We do not suggest adding any additional covering to it. When installing you should ensure the wires are routed so they don't touch the turbo or heat shields on the passenger side. Beyond that just follow the guide and enjoy. :)

Here's where I am confused. The OBD cable, how are you guys fetching it from the engine bay once you push the smaller end through from the inside? and I've looked at the grommet location left of the break pedal. Are you guys pushing it out into the engine bay? or pushing it aside to make enough room to push the cable through?

Thank you so much. That would def help.

The fuel wire install and blutooth to the JB4 itself was a breeze. Got both of those done in 2min. But now that I have to actually get it on the car, I am all sorts of confused. lol

You have to pull from both ends. Pull the grommet out from the engine and out from the cab. You should be able to separate it enough to get the cables through. Heck I have 3 cables going through it lol that get routed to the fuse box.

From under dash push grommet out, feed small connector in to engine bay, from engine bay grab and route it, push grommet back in. Should take 60 seconds. :)
