Couple more shots of the BMS WMI kit. We'll have several tank options available.

I went for the stealth 1gallon bracket on our car. Keeps everything completely hidden where the spare tire would otherwise go. Drawback, need to loose the spare. Also note the blue BMS sealed vent cap on the tanks. This is required for hatch backs to avoid evaporated meth vapor in the cabin.

For those who would prefer to keep the spare we've got the 2gallon integrated tanks (pump mounts inside tank for a clean and easy install), and then this can be placed in several places in the trunk. This is how "bal" mounted his.

The JB4 runs all the electronics and the lines are routed through the interior along the passenger side. Installation takes maybe 20 minutes. The trickiest part is sorting out how to mount the 1/8" NPT nozzle. For the time being we decided to simply drill/tap our factory chargepipe. Looking in to better bolt in options for that like a coupler with nozzle mount in it.

And then finally the good stuff, how does it actually work? Here is a sneak peak of a JB4 log recorded on 91 octane using boost juice (50/50 mix). As the JB4 is running WMI mapping it can control how much flows, when it flows, and how the tuning responds when it's flowing. You'll notice I have it set not to spray in 1st gear here as JB4 boost is reduced for improved traction. You can see the meth flow trace in the log as well as intake temperatures dropping. This specific log resulted in a 12.4@116mph 1/4 mile.

Do you have before and after iat temps? How much more boost are you running under meth flow?

map8 is setup to transition between map1 power levels and map7 power levels currently as a function of WMI flow. Now that it's up and running will continue refining the software side. Expect to see more logs and photos posted as we go. :)

Got a few logs from Eli who is out at the track testing E30 on map5 and map7. As suspected map7 has fuel pressure dropping. The easy options are WMI to supplement the fuel volume, a leaner AFR (probably not a good idea), or unleaded race gas instead of E85 which has a lower fuel volume requirement.

I'm going to try to talk him in to a WMI kit... :)

Ok, so can we say we are starting to see the limits of the OEM fuel system?

A limit of the high pressure pump at least, we'll have to dig deeper.

Reviving this, any updates on these kits??? I’d like to buy one and do a before and after on our dyno yet and see the difference! Wanted to do methanol on my gen but never had the chance.

They're released and available on BMS's website

Quite a few out in the wild. Our unique WMI nozzle adapter is a MUST HAVE even if you decide not to use our awful fully JB4 integrated WMI kit.

This guy just made 442whp/525wtq with JB4 WMI, but this is on a Mustang dyno.:eek:That’s about 510whp/600wtq on a Dynojet with only intakes and completely stock exhaust!
@kato_the_kia_stinger on Instagram: “trip to the dyno. #jb4, stock exhaust, #WMI, #intake 442 WHP & 525 Torque. #dyno #dynotest #hp #whp #horsepower #torque #cargasm…”
Very impressive and best dyno results I’ve seen yet from our stock turbos.

With MD dynos while great for tuning on there is no way to really do a comparison to DynJet as the numbers can vary wildly based on correction and load factors entered in to the MD dyno. If you want internet glory it has to be a dynojet. :)

Understood and know there is no way to directly compare different dynos. However, the consensus seems to be that Dynojets average about 15% higher and many people have confirmed those comparisons. Also one of our members with a JB4 ran 375whp on MD and others with same mods are running 420-430whp on Dynojets which matches the 15%.

Again I know its not 100% accurate but thought it was worth mentioning the JB4 WMI combo easily broke the current stock turbo record of 485whp/505wtq, and he did it with completely stock exhaust. Even if you use a very conservative 12% difference its still 10whp & 83wtq more than the previous record, so congrats!

Did a few updates to my snow kit. Made a new bracket to hold the assembly to the body without tapping in the body, added 90deg double ended swivel fitting between the pump and solenoid and added a Prometh 50micron filter between the tank and pump. Also added a tank sight tube with the red floating ball.

This 442 hp car only ran 12.14 in ideal conditions so performance is still a bit off from what the dyno is suggesting even at the 442 whp let alone 510.

Horsepower != 1/4 mile ETs. Horsepower = trap speed

Turns out he was on snow tires lol, those will crap performance at the track for sure. But looking at boost/timing I expect he would make around 450whp on a dynojet as other AWD cars running the same boost/timing generally make.

Lol. How does the fastest AWD track slip Stinger at 116.99mph still get described as “only” a 12.1:unsure:

IMHO a 12.1@117 is great for an AWD that had slow 1.95sec 60s. If or when he runs 1.8s like many other AWD Stingers he will probably break 11s too.

I agree he may not be pushing as much as the estimated 500whp, but easily more than 442whp. I think that’s pretty awesome for completely stock exhaust with only intakes and a JB4/WMI kit.

Yeah. I got a lot of grief for that 12.1. I am having trouble hooking on launch. The videos from this weekend show some spin. Even in the one a posted against the TrackHawk.
