Leasing company don't care about warranty at all. They just care about their payments and if the car is insured. Even insurance they only require you to have it when driving car from dealership then it's on you.Kia are pretty particular about what can and cannot be done with regards to their 7 year factory warranty. SO normally the leasing company wouldn't allow anything that would negate the warranty.

How would a uni chip affect warranty?
An hour, cost me $110.How long did it take to install?
Just a local auto electrician in Newcastle. Any business should do fine and it will be vovercoby them.Money well spent for the satisfaction of knowing it's been done properly and with no damage.
Is the installer in Sydney or Newcastle?
I think one if the Melbourne guys was considering a Unichip and was going to check it out with the distributor (Melbourne based). I can't recall who it was. Maybe someone can chip in here.

You’ll have to excuse my ignorance, but don’t Kia state the car is 272kw and 510nm stock? If so, why are the “standard” results lower than Kia stats and the unichip results are an increase of about 10kw/10nm respectively.Too late it's booked in for Tuesday @ $1900 installed with 5 maps and a before and after dyno.
I will be expecting from 220 before hand to 282kw at the wheel after its it's installed.

272 at the fly or 272 - 30% at the wheel which is 190ish?You’ll have to excuse my ignorance, but don’t Kia state the car is 272kw and 510nm stock? If so, why are the “standard” results lower than Kia stats and the unichip results are an increase of about 10kw/10nm respectively.
Loving that mod & look, have been considering this myself for a while now, but I have been a bit cautious until I find a good auto electrician.
I'm so happy with it!!!!
I wouldn't be too cautious mate...most business will honour any errors they make. Just get it done, you won't regret it.Loving that mod & look, have been considering this myself for a while now, but I have been a bit cautious until I find a good auto electrician.
I can feel a Newcastle drive coming on.Loving that mod & look, have been considering this myself for a while now, but I have been a bit cautious until I find a good auto electrician.
