• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Australia-Specific Kia Stinger Discussion

Hi All,
I am wondering if any body has experienced their 10 1/2 inch screen on the 2021 Stinger GT completely dead when starting up the car.
On at least 10 occasions this has happened to me and the only way to get it working again is turn off the car completely and wait at least 10 minutes.
Anyone know of a work around?
Thanks all
Yes.
As well as the lack of the ECO mode not going into "Coasting".
Same cause/fix.

After arguing for 12 months with xealer and proving that the battery was not holding charge when car is in garage for a week or more.
Battery Volts droppd to as low as 11.7V

Had battery replaced finally, and those problems have gone!
Suspect it may have to do with too low a voltage for the 12V inverter.

Hi All,

Hope that all is well in car appreciation world. It's been a while since I posted here and others have.

I am looking at selling my 2019 (MY20) Stinger after 6 years. It's been good to me but spent a fair bit of time in the garage after I retired in mid 2021. It's in great condition, only done 30,300km's and has Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres that are 3,000km's old. I'm in Melbourne if anyone is interested.

No but I am in Melbourne also.

Carsales? Redbook?

It gives a fair indication.

Thanks Mate,

Thought that I'd try a specific Stinger forum before I post in the usual car selling websites.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Fair enough
My useless advice.

Take the trade in price. Pick the middle. Thats what its worth at a car dealer in excellent condition.

Add $1000. Thats what its worth to sell privately. You cant get a dealer selling price because you dont have the dealer overheads of rent, rates, premises, staff, electricity, overdraft, and profit. The trade in price is its true value.

You find when you add the $1000 to the trade in price it pretty much lines up with the redbook private seller price.

Hopefully you dont owe money on it as it makes it impossible to sell other than to a dealer.
