• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Australia-Specific Kia Stinger Discussion

I have owned my Stinger over 12 months now, and have not updated my Navigation, have any other Aussie owners and forum members already updated theirs, and has there been an update already a while back ? Can anyone provide the link to a previous thread here or even website which shows how to do this for Australia?

I took my Stinger in for service last Friday, I asked them and they said NO, I found the thread here, and I'm trying to download the update as I am typing this message.

Day one with my Stinger... . Every thing seems to be just where it should be.. no rattles.. no paint flaws.

Are the little see through plastic looking things in corner of rear door a permanent fixture?

Playing my FLAC files..happily

Didn't realise the different driving modes made as much difference as it does

Very happy

Well done cayra. The plastic guard strips are designed to stop stone chips so don't remove. I remember being puzzled about those on day one as well.

@Cayra yay for us both getting car at similar time!
I've put my brake vent mesh in successfully I think haha

Just setup the music for 7/4/1 with on stage and other thing enabled.

Now just working out android play....why the flip can't we use android play over Bluetooth!!

Should be getting sequential reflectors next week.

I just mostly leave it in sport haha what do you guys normally drive in....was gonna try smart mode after next fill up.

Currently sitting on 9.5/100 in sport majority of the time.

I think I'll setup my seat and mirrors properly finally lmao

9.5 is pretty good for Sport, but you're not in stop start traffic most of the time.
I'm running mostly Comfort with a little bit of Sport. 12.3/100 average after nearly 9500km.

I run mine in comfort most of the time and it usually sits between about 8.5 to 8.8, sometimes just over 9 if I give it a bit now and then. When I first got it I ran a full tank in every mode and generally speaking I still got 600+ km per tank. You’ll get slightly better in smart mode or eco, sport is a bit thirstier but does feel good to boot it now and then, but I find overall comfort gives a good mix of well comfort lol and sportyish response when needed. Regardless of mode you’ll still enjoy it.
