3.3 Muffler Deletes, video inside and out

Mine drones like crazy at ~1800 RPM... Looking into resonators soon. I’m also running a custom set-up now, and it’s still VERY noticeable around that RPM range.

With just the deletes it was hella annoying on a cruise.

I was thinking of going to a local shop here in Toronto and get the mufflers taken off and replaced with a y-pipe with some drone tubes as many have stated but then I came across the SSR performance muffler delete and was thinking it costs about the same as what the shop would do it for and since I plan to do a SSR down pipe later down the road I was thinking it would match with the muffler delete. If I go with a custom pipe would it work less than expected when paired with proper kits? Thanks in advance

After that a had a lot of drone from 1200RPM to 2600RPM. I went back to the muffler shop and they install a drone tube, and after that it got 90% better. You can hear a little drone between 1800RPM and 2000RPM.

The sound is not as deep as with straight pipes, but not having a lot of drone worth it.

I just looked at your pictures in more detail. I was wondering if the shop you took it to had just cut off the muffler and replaced it with a y pipe or did they unbolt it all the way and replaced it with non restrictive tube and a y pipe. I'm debating on whether or not I should get the SSR performance axleback or head to to the shop and get it done since it would cost about the same. In the stock system it has a restrictive area close to bolts but I can't seem to tell from your pictures if they were replaced. Thanks

They cut off the muffler and installed an y pipe...

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
From what i am seeing here is just go with the down pipes or your car will sound like shit. Seems like the performance gains are at the down pipe anyways right?

I disagree I just got the deletes, cut off at the muffler and new pipe welded on there. I love it. Just got intakes as well and she’s a beast!
