• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Kia Stinger - Australia discussions (pre-release)

these pages from the new / December edition of Wheels (Australia) Magazine.

Kia really does need to work on their communications processes.

According to the advertisement capped price servicing is out to 105,000kms

and the back page vehicle specs section states the different variants with different fuel consumption numbers?

I hope we get to hear the Australian version before we buy. My dealer is going to fit one to the demo when exhausts arrive he has ordered 6 of them. The power increase is more than our version.

Just looking at the Australian Kia website and it now list accessories for the stinger but there is no bimodal exhaust listed. That’s strange.

just watch a YouTube review of the stinger by The StraightPipes. They show the orange stinger with a Borala exhaust and it sounds fantastic. They also have the West Coast customs blue stinger and that sound average.

I got my stinger today.... Well.... Probably won't have my licence for long that's for sure. I re badged the stinger all good except for the front badge needs one of the pins removed to fit.

hi mate .. when you removed the rear kia badge did it have holes.. I'm planning on changing the kia to the stinger script badge

For those all in Australia, I saw some comments earlier but has anything been confirmed regarding what fuel we should be running. I read that its been engineered for 91, but does that mean it wont run as well with the 98 vortex (which is all I have put in it to date)?

Going back through the forum on a few occasions this question has been raised. You might want to back pedal through. My take was that the engine has been designed to use 91 and basically anything else was judged to be a waste. Someone also added a video from youtube by john cadogan who appears to be some authority check it out.

There is no performance issue running higher Octane 95 or 98 but at the same time there is no meaningful performance benefit. Save your money for something else you can actually appreciate.
