Looking at exhaust, cooler upgrade and cai. Will keep you all posted. Will get her on rollers shortly and record baseline power/torque and afrs

Hmmm enjoy!, well i am kinda.
7yr warranty.
But wait 10k ayear!!!!
3 weeks and have done 1545km.....
Hmmm roighly 195 km per week.
Will leave mine in showroom! Then weekend drive. Bit wait that's 195km per week.
Befor you know it you first year service is up.

Not a 7yr warranty, maybe 5yrs..

What do they expect to drive with GT.

Cheers for the welcome's guys. Just had nice drive through the hills. Absolutely in love with this car, still cant believe its a Kia. So much nicer driver car than my VF SS redline or Sti. Really blown away. Still puzzled by the 40psi boost gauge. Seems its just asking for 2bar lol. Not much longer till we put her on rollers n see where we are at. Hope you guys still waiting get your delivery real soon

Do you honestly think you are getting 7yrs warranty. Cos that means you'll only drive every year 10000km!!!. I seriously don't think so.
Your thoughts..... if you drive on avg 15000km a year then your 7yr warranty will be say close to 4.5yrs!!

Every 10000km or year wichever comes first.

I understand the warranty is 7 years unlimited kms fixed and the capped service program is only up to 70,000 kms so if you get there in less than 7 years this has no effect on when your warranty expires. There appears to be some confusion with comments on this forum

Tazztattoo, my point is that KIA has reduced kms/year!
Avg is around 15000km/year infact the rest of the Kia range has 15000km per year.
But the STINGER is only 10000km, so the 7yr does not really apply cos that will never come first unless it's garaged or in a showroom!!
but easy to clock up say 300 - 500kms per week and thats it, warranty is over after 4.5yrs!
EDIT: or less.
Who has clocked up and how many kms so far, the ones who have a car.

Servicing costs are no longer capped after 70,000 but the warranty period at 7 years is not related to the timing of your servicing

Hey Sting, The 10,000km service intervals is not new for KIA. Any of their Turbo petrol vehicles (optima GT) have this 10,000km service interval. As for the warranty, you HAVE 7 years/unlimited KM's on your warranty. Your capped price servicing will end after 70,000km or 7 years (which ever comes first). Capped price servicing and the warranty period are not linked.

Optima GT is 7500 kms or every 6 months actually... Stinger is every 10,000 kms or 12 months due to the fact the motor is a twin turbo v6 and need to be serviced more regularly, the 7 year warranty is unlimited kms as been stated but if your doing 20,000 kms a year in a stinger you will be servicing twice a year which means your capped price servicing program will finish earlier then anticipated but your warranty will still be in place for the full 7 years
