Nice find and info marco. circa $67k. least it is unique for the price.

Cheers, the latest info I've received puts the car into luxury tax once a few options are selected.
Although option prices are not confirmed he's given me estimates for Towbar, floor mats, boot liner which brings the car price on the threshold but once I add the Bi-Modal which latest accounts put it at max $2,500 or even Tinted windows the car will be subject to LCT and will add over $2000 in tax to already paying stamp duty and GST.
If I go ahead then the exhaust and tint will be a separate add on later and I was also thinking of adding ceramic coating.
This tells me that dealerships will miss out on a lot of potential add on sales due to the price being so high and bordering on LCT.
I have attached a photo of a tow bar that my dealer took on there training day on Wednesday.

So I thought LCT kicked in @ about $58k so now I'm struggling to understand how an RRP of $59,990 becomes circa $66k and for some people over $68k......

This is a massive buyer's bargaining tool right here. You all now know what your maximum contract price should be, so make sure you get as many accessories and extras included and keep it under this price. Any buyer should be prepared to walk away on this principle. Cars come and go. Always will...

By my (not good with numbers) calculations I'm paying about $245 in LCT....I can cope with that (if I have to).

Agreed - I got floor mats thrown in too. I'll be buying (IF I do) the exhaust after I've taken delivery - maybe at the 1500 km service as "spare parts". Nothing to do with the "driveaway" (LCT) price.

And, with current long weekend fuel prices in Vic, a full tank adds massive value to the deal!!

Interior Feature specs on the new brochure lists "Interior LED lights (front & rear) with delay out.

Does anyone have pictures or video links to show these? I take it they are just ceiling cabin lights they are referring to.

Ask your dealer for a breakdown of the on road costs . KIA pricing for NSW is $5206.50 .
In NSW stamp duty and rego on a 60k car is $2100 . As Stinger is not listed yet on the CTP insurance site so I'm guessing around $750 .
Add dealer cost for pre delivery i.e. mechanical check , clean car and some paperwork . Let's say $500 .
Maybe I'm missing something . Maybe somebody is ripping somebody off .

I've only just moved to the "weather" state. Ahhhh, didn't know about the clause.

Mine has:
Subject to price
Subject to colour
Subject to trade in
Subject to rise/fall in sugar futures*
Subject to even remembering I ordered a car 6+ months ago*

* may not actually be in the contract.

Well, Got my contract and the price wait for it...$65195.43..hmmmm includes colour and trim. Drive away or even less
with out the plates. Have my own, saving of $105
CTP $587.43

Original drive away price quoted when I placed a deposit in Mid Feb was $59995.
