@Thermal Is there any advantage of using clamps to join the exhaust pieces instead of the usual flange and bolts?

Good question. The standard band clamp is still a good option, but the couplers used here are a little more versatile and effective. They allow the installer to adjust the clocking or rotation of the rear section and also adjust the depth , ensuring the outlet pipes fit properly in the valance during install. They also provide a much stronger seal at the connection.

@Thermal Am I correct in noting that there is no crossover from one pipe to the other for equalizing pressure like an H or X pipe? And do you have any dynos before & after? It looks to me like you have a real winner here... congrats!

We were capturing this clip with a sensitive microphone, the sound you hear is the driver shifting into gear. Unfortunately capturing that sound was unavoidable with the automatic.

Full Disclosure, I work in development at Thermal R&D Exhaust. This engine is one where an exhaust manufacturer cannot fake their ability to control sound. We love this car. We want this system in the hands of original enthusiast owners. I see there are a lot of drone concerns here, I believe our system is one that will address them.

Is there any that tie into the stock ecv type control... In the US, we have an enhanced mode which should be able to be wired to the ecv.

The stock system does not have any sort ECV control, it just augments the sound in the cabin.

Been listening to exhaust clips on the surround system, I think my 2 favs are the Jun and the thermal...it's hard to tell not hearing it live to tell which is best..decisions, decisions, decisions.
