Wheel/size/offset and tire/size/profile...can be confusing.

Sorry to revive and old thread but would someone be able to tell me or put me in the direction to finding out if a 18x10.5 et22 would fit in the rear?
This would stick out QUITE a bit and I am extremely doubtful this would fit without a ridiculous amount of camber

Yea I ended up going a different route, thank you.

Installed GT Form HF 1.1 Hybrid Forged wheels with Continental SportContact 7 tyres. Very happy with the light weight and concavity of these wheels…and the grip from the SportContact 7.

Wheels:
Front - 20x9 ET+35
Rear - 20x10.5 ET+45

Tyres:
Front - 255/35/20
Rear - 285/30/20

My Stinger is lowered on Eibach springs…which lends a perfect fitment. No fender rubbing either.IMG_8719.webpIMG_8720.webpIMG_8723.webpIMG_8725.webpIMG_8726.webpIMG_8730.webpIMG_8724.webp

Would 19x9.5 et 40 work as a square setup? Or is that too inward for up front?

Correct to inward for the front check out fitment Industries gallery for stingers or custom Offsets gallery

You're adding 1.5" to the width, or 0.75" inside & out, then pushing it 6mm (1/4") further inward. So an inch extra on the inside, and half inch on the outside.

Since we know a stock wheel (8" +34) sits pretty flush with a 20mm (0.8") spacer, we know we can increase that half inch outside by at least another 0.3" or 8mm. Call it 10mm and you have the 9.5" +30 which I think @mikegt2 runs.

…also following this, planning on a square 19 x 9.5 setup…

Would the 9.5” +30 fit in the rear as well? So far the solutions I’ve seen appear to need spacers either front or rear.

Thanks!

They should fit but will hang out more than the fronts. Compared to the stock 8.5" +46.5, you're adding an inch of width, or 1/2" (12.7mm) inside & out, then shifting outward a further 16.5mm or 0.65".

So your outer edge will be 1.15" or 29mm further out than stock. 20mm is my reference point for pretty flush / starting to poke, so you're talking an extra 0.4" of poke. +40 would be more appropriate (with a 10mm spacer up front to bring them back to +30).

Edit: a simple rule to keep in mind is that going to a square setup will always leave the rears 6.15mm or 1/4" further out than the fronts.

Rears start out 1/2" wider but with 12.5mm higher offset. So whatever square size you pick, you're adding 1/2" more wheel to the fronts than rears, ie 1/4" inside & out, then shifting the rears outward 12.5mm relative to the fronts. Net difference, rears 1/4" further out than fronts.

So to run square what’s the best fitting wheel to be flushed or very close to flush with no poke

Mathematically, you want something like:
- 8.5", +20F / +25R
- 9", +25-30F, +30-35R
- 9.5", +30-35F, +35-40R

Anecdotally, I have seen:
- 8.5" +25
- 8.5" +30 (@Luminary I think)

So 9.5 with 35 offset will fit front and back no poke
Yes, with the proviso that the outer edge of the rears will be 6mm / 1/4" outboard of the fronts. Specifically, it'll be as if you added an 18mm (3/4") spacer to the stock fronts, and a 24mm (~1") spacer to the stock rears.

Most people probably won't notice, but I'm being specific because some wheel guys are very particular (I've seen "needs a 5mm spacer" more than once).

19 x 8.5 +35 will work squared, too.
Square 8.5" wide and ET35 would be my top spec as well.

That burnt bronze looks great on a white Stinger. I wouldn't want to be the one washing those wheel though. ;)

I’ll have a square 19x8.5 et35 setup to share in the next couple weeks (hopefully).

Is anyone running a 255/40/19 square setup? I see some 35s but no 40s??
