TCU ID needs to match.Does the TCU ID on my car have to match the new trans tune file you are purchasing from SXTH or can you just purchase any stinger 8 speed trans tune and load it?
Thanks for any help giving.

Have you been able to compare 1/4 mile times between the Lozic and sxth tcu tunes? If so, have you noticed any difference, and whether one is faster than the other? There are options for factory LC or boost LC. I would suggest you to go for factory LC + brake boost harness if you seeking for 0-60 time. TCU LC is never as consistent as brake snip LC anyway. Auto shift at just a touch below 6000 which is good for all tunes. Line pressure is adjusted for sure and you can feel it shifts quicker pretty obvious. The biggest advantage of SXTH TCU comparing with LOZIC one for me is it feels stock for daily driving, in a good way. My LOZIC tcu just feels jerky, it kicks my back for downshift/upshift.
What options did you have for Lozic that made it jerky in daily driving?. The biggest advantage of SXTH TCU comparing with LOZIC one for me is it feels stock for daily driving, in a good way. My LOZIC tcu just feels jerky, it kicks my back for downshift/upshift.
For me the biggest issue was the 2-1 down shift coming to a stop. I selected the option for a smooth 2-1 down shift, but it's anything but. Granted, I picked -8% pressure 3, but I think it's an issue overall with the tune based on what I've read from other people who have it.What options did you have for Lozic that made it jerky in daily driving?
I have the order form right now and was thinking -8% pressure 2. Like everyone else it seems on this thread.
I thought this setting would help with that. Maybe it’s the Sport + option? For me the biggest issue was the 2-1 down shift coming to a stop. I selected the option for a smooth 2-1 down shift, but it's anything but.
They will automatically match the compatible ones on the website once you put the correct ID inDoes the TCU ID on my car have to match the new trans tune file you are purchasing from SXTH or can you just purchase any stinger 8 speed trans tune and load it?

Yes.. I have learned a lot in 24 hrs. Initially after putting my info on SXTH web page I only had access to 3 files and no TCU files (my info I entered was Incorrect). They will automatically match the compatible ones on the website once you put the correct ID in![]()
Nathan may not have a tune for every ID, depends if he was asked for it in the past, if so it will show up in your list. If not, send him a message, he will get to it eventually, or if he determines it is equivalent to another ID, he may have you flash a new boot record which changes your computer to the already supported ID.Yes.. I have been searching, reaching out to our group, reaching out to vendors etc to try to figure out what was wrong. To be honest, there need to be an updated page on SXTH web site that will address all of these newer problems people encounter. Nathan explained that he will be working on this but his workload is pretty high.
When I got my EK1 LITE, I downloaded some files as I was instructed to but it wasn't clear cut as to what to do to get the files into the car. I tried doing what the instructions said to do but the EK1was not having it.
The issue was the SD card and creating the folders inside the SD card so the EK1 Lite could find the files and read it.
The next problem was getting info on updating the trans files with a new tune. Nathan from SXTH explained this as well and some of these simple explanations should be added to their web page asap.
I can see this possibly causing problems with the newer croud of tuners and possibly bricking ECU/TCUs if it's not done correctly.
I only got the EK1 Lite and the new 1.2 firmware isnt available yet but have you tried downgrading to the older firmware?
