Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Yeah. I keep my Lap3 ecu boost to 16-18psi only.

Ok, good. Hope you find whats make the sound.
For me, I had blow by, by the pistons, 3 and 4 I think and headgasket. It was found out when KIA after the engine broke did a leakdown test.

Now, $20 k later I have a new engine and I also stay away from LAP3 tunes that have killed several engines. Its not only about boost, better with good fuel, better timing and max 20 psi.
Also everyone should try to avoid boost overshoot as cylinder pressure goes skyhigh, feels great with a lot of torque in 1-2 second but not worth it.
Many tuners now focus on stable boost and thats good.
So what do you suspect was the root cause of the engine failure? JB4 map 6, Lap3 ecu or something else?

I saw this video today, and I got the shits.

Good thinking! Good luck and let us know.
Still has the whistle, I don't it's something with the engine nor the transmission, it's more likely to be wind gushing through the panoramic sunroof.
Here's a log in map2 on 93 octane. Minor corrections but otherwise normal.

About same. I’m try to run this amount of boost for daily driving too. With 20 deg timing it’s still guaranteed to be mid 11s and trap speed of 118. Trap speed should be a good measurement for power and it’s easy to figure out at what trap speed you entered danger zone by simply checking the dragy rank.

I assume you have EWG wires as well?

I don't have them.
Maybe your waste gate is fried then. Take JB4 off and go back to dealer and enjoy your new turbos hopefully next month. Still way better than lift the head or what.

I tried map8 turbos off and still have the whistle sound, the dealership had the car for a week and didn't find anything it's really weird. If the waste gate failed I can hear it while revving but there's nothing at revving.
Also the whistle pitch will change when I go over bumps on the road.

For kicks and giggles just try map0 and make a log?

You also need to reset your codes in your jb4.
Got zero codes, nothing no oil burning, coolant, or misfire nothing.

The log you just sent has some stored codes in it “those aren’t actual codes” but clear the jb4 anyways. Look in your log where it says “last safety”

Last saftey, this means the last time CEL were checked?

No. Last safety is actually jb4 safety codes. Not the same as a check engine light. It’s normally a 1-5 number. Yours is an error so needs reset to see if anything pops up. Reset it.. do a map0 log. Then a map2 log.

Oh okay it's saying 255. How do I reset it?
