Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Setting catalyst heating to 'Off' should make your cold starts much quieter, not louder. The factory ECU wants to heat the catalytic converters up as quickly as it can when they're cold, as they work much more efficiently when they're hot. To do this, it dumps fuel into the engine with a richer A/F ratio, and idles the engine at a higher RPM to stop stalling. This is why cold starts are normally so damn loud. If you have this option off, the ECU won't try to quickly heat up the cats, so the engine will sound like it does after a warm engine start (that is, much quieter). If your car still has its converters you should probably keep this on, but if you removed the cats then turning this off will make your morning starts much more tolerable for the houses around you.

Off topic a little bit.. My most recent pulls my JB4 shows timing pulls on ignition 2-6 way higher then they have ever been. Regardless of what Map I am in. I did put 3 gallons on E85 this time. Would this have something to do with it? Or most likely just way crappy gas this time? Reminder I don’t have ECU yet.

Post a log for us. preferably the CSV so it can be opened in excel.

According to BMS. Overall timing is still decent and they were not worried. Just the worst I have ever seen ignition 2-6. I have smaller samples of it even worse that this. ECU is in the mail- just was kinda doing a few logs before to compare is all.

Hopefully this worked.
Looks like a bad mixture, a good bet when making an e85 mix is to do about 33% e85. so from an empty, or very close to empty tank, 9-10 gallons of 93-91 and then 4-5 gallons of e85. if you are trying to do the mixture on whatever amount of gas you have in the tank already, then you just need to calculate how much gas is in the tank left by your current average, then do the 33% based off that.

Thanks for looking! Could you clarify the last part. I am blonde! So example I had only 91 in the tank- went to the station and could fit 6 gallons. I did 3 gallons e85 and 3 gallons of 91. So my assumption was that only a total of 3 gallons of e85 should of been fine. But maybe there was more from a tank ago?

So if 6 gallons fit in the tank, that means you had 9ish gallons left of what is assumed 91. you add 3 gallons so you have 12 total now of 91. add 3 gallons of e85, and that would mean that you have 80% 91 and 20% e85, or an e20 mixture. now, Pump e85 is almost never actually e85, it varies largely from pump to pump. assuming you did get good quality e85, an e20 mixture would more than likely provide the timing corrections that you got, as that map prefers an e30 mixture. in a perfect world, the formula I gave you to figure out how much to put in your car would actually give you around a e35 mixture, but nothing is perfect, so the formula takes that into account and gives you a little room for error to get e30.
its probably a good idea to always put between an extra half gallon to 3/4 gallon more of e85 than you think you need, as the stinger tank is 15.9 (16) gallons and it makes the math harder to do in your head, which is why 15 gallons is used as a reference point. especially since the stingers tend to cut off fuel filling just a little bit earlier than they should. (I've noticed that I can get about an extra gallon in my tank without anything being cutoff or stored in the fuel filling tube)

Makes perfect sense! The only add on I have is I was even getting this bad corrections when I moved to map0! So that’s why I was like WTF- and yet BMS was not concerned. So figured I would ask around. While I patiently wait for the ECU

Yeah, sometimes there are corrections even on map 0, as the environment is not always perfect. I would hope the map 0 corrections are not as strong as the log you just posted however.

Looks like it! But this is the only tank this has happened. Just stumped.
That's not the only thing that is strange, you made 16lbs of boost on map0. now that is strange, I have never seen a stock stinger make more than 14lbs, even with no corrections at all.

Only Bolt on I have is Intake as well. So who knows! This all happened after I updated JB4 app? The car feels fine- logs are only thing.

I need to update so people know huh. 2020 base GT.
interesting. I assume the weather was clear and warm but not super hot when you took those logs? at 16lbs factory, I'm surprised it didn't throw an over boost code lol.

Correct! I’m going to move to map0 to be safe and take some more as I work through the gas and wait for ECU. I ordered new plugs too. Even though I just changed them 8k ago.

Which plugs are you currently running and what did you order?
